Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on September 8, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: $7 PINTS AT JP`S EVERY FRIDAY MS PACE LETS CHASE THE DREAM (1) has raced in the absolute best company, and was only 10m from Lazarus in a 1.49.0 Chariots Of Fire earlier in the year. He is now with the Hall camp and is clearly the one to beat. THEREUGO (7) is flying and will be hard to catch if he can take up his usual front running role. DONEGALS RUNDLESCREEK (6) and SKIPPY RASCAL (2) were both good winners in weaker company at their last starts and look place chances. Tips: 1 7 6 2 Suggested Bet: LETS CHASE THE DREAM (1) to win. SuperPick - Race 1 no. 9 ROSIES IDEAL - Money Back Race 2: BOOK YOUR MELBOURNE CUP LUNCHEON AT GP MS PACE MIGHTY MISTER SHARKEY (4) put the writing on the wall with a strong 2nd to the talented Vampiro before finding the front and recording an easy Pinjarra victory. He may not be able to find the top here but is the one to beat. WEBB ELLIS (1) was well driven but just battled on fairly at his first run back from a spell but can improve from the pole. ONEONTHEWOOD (3) has won his last two and is ready for the rise in class. IM MASTER CHARLIE (10) has been taking on better fields and should enjoy a nice run on the pegs. Tips: 4 1 3 10 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY MISTER SHARKEY (4) to win. Race 3: 10% OFF INTER DOMINION HOSPITALITY BOOKINGS IN SEPTEMBER MARES MS PACE MY PLATINUM BELLE (7) has only missed a place three times in her last 15 starts and should be thereabouts again. She couldn’t make up ground in a quick final 800m at her last start but is capable of being driven more aggressively tonight. MAIA MAGUIRE (12) broke through here last week after five consecutive placings and looks a major player again despite the draw. FOXY DAME (9) is the other class runner and has been placed at two of her three runs back from a break. LOVERS PRAYER (1) looks a good place chance from the pole. Tips: 7 12 9 1 Suggested Bet: MY PLATINUM BELLE (7) each way. Race 4: WWW.PERTHINTERDOMINION.COM.AU MS PACE SPRINTER (8) has only missed a place once in his last 14 starts and should fight out the finish again. He was beaten as a $1.40 favourite last start but worked hard in the last lap on that occasion and can bounce back here. GAZ WANNABET (2) resumed from a spell with a close 2nd in 1.54.3 and could find the front tonight. EL HOMBRE (9) was a strong 2nd from this draw in a similar field last week and can play a part again. OVERBOARD AGAIN (10) has been racing well and just needs luck from this awkward draw. Tips: 8 2 9 10 Suggested Bet: SPRINTER (8) to win. Race 5: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION STARTS NOVEMBER 24 MS PACE HARRY HOO (7) has finished midfield at his last two starts including a 6th to Shandale here last start. He will appreciate a drop in class and should be thereabouts. FOREVER REMEMBERED (9) stormed home to beat Maia Maguire three starts back and will be running on here. TO INFINITYNBEYOND (5) was a good 3rd to Tanaka Eagle two starts ago and would give them something to catch if he crosses at the start. GOTTA GO CHOCOLATE (8) was an impressive last start winner but goes up in class tonight. Tips: 7 9 5 8 Suggested Bet: HARRY HOO (7) each way. Race 6: BOOK YOUR HARNESS RACING TRAVEL WORLD INTER DOMINION PACKAGE NOW MS PACE SHANDALE (4) faced the breeze when an impressive 1.55.8 winner over Mach Time last week. This field is considerably stronger but he looks a classy conveyance on the way up. IDEAL TYSON (1) was held up at a crucial stage when 3rd in that race and gets his chance from the pole. HEEZ ON FIRE (7) was one of the many horses who struggled out wide last start but his previous form was first class. FRANCO RAYNER (10) is drawn to get a nice run on the pegs and can be placed. Tips: 4 1 7 10 Suggested Bet: SHANDALE (4) to win. Race 7: HOWARD PORTER MEMORIAL MS PACE CHICAGO BULL (7) is the state’s best pacer and has shown his versatility in winning from different positions. He may not be at his top first up but is clearly the one to beat. RUN ONEOVER (1) led throughout last week, dashing home in 54.9, and a repeat performance will see him giving a great sight. BEAUDIENE BOAZ (10) couldn’t get near CHICAGO BULL (7) last campaign but has the draw to be competitive. SIMPLY SUSATIONAL (11) could be placed if it becomes a pegs dominated race. Tips: 7 1 10 11 Suggested Bet: BEAUDIENE BOAZ (10) each way. Race 8: WIN BOOST NOW ON TABTOUCH HANDICAP SS PACE BETTOR NOT BITTER (1) has won four of his past six starts and was a strong 2nd to Arising Easton here on Tuesday. He needs to step cleanly from the pole but will be very hard to catch if he leads. RYCROFT (9) is the class runner of the field and will appreciate the easier company tonight. OHOKA KENTUCKY (10) has returned from a spell in great fashion and can overcome the 20m handicap. ALWAYS ARJAY (3) has won five of his last seven and is up to the rise in class. Tips: 1 9 10 3 Suggested Bet: BETTOR NOT BITTER (1) to win. Race 9: THE SPORTS DAILY THE WARWICK QUALIFYING HEAT 1 MS PACE OUR ZAK WHITBY (2) was well driven on Monday when a mid-race move saw him race away to record an easy victory. This field is considerably stronger but he is the best drawn of the main chances. IDEALINDIAMONDS (4) raced in very good company in NZ and may have a class edge on his rivals so monitor the betting. MESSI (5) has great gate speed and would be hard to catch if he crosses them early. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (7) disappointed as a $1.30 favourite last week but his previous form was good enough to be a winning chance. Tips: 2 4 5 7 Suggested Bet: OUR ZAK WHITBY (2) to win. Race 10: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU MS PACE BETTORS AVENUE (2) faced the breeze when a fair 5th in a similar event last week and will be hard to catch if he finds the top. READY FOR TAKEOFF (10) led and had his chance in that race but will be fitter for the run. LORD LEXUS (3) has finished midfield at his last four starts and will appreciate the drop in class here. OUR BIG SLOW (4) has limited ability but this race suits. Tips: 2 10 3 4 Suggested Bet: BETTORS AVENUE (2) to win.
