Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Seymour Preview Posted on January 2, 2024January 2, 2024 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 BEEN OUR ANGEL has been gelded and jumped out well to resume. HALVAR caught the eye on debut, he’s jumped out ok between runs and may be better suited coming back to 1000m. GROUSE MOUNTAIN has been jumping out quite well, as have JALPIDO and MAGWAZI. GLOWLIGHT is fit, consistent and gets blinkers on. Selections: 2,5,10,7 Suggested Bet: Been Our Angel to win Race 2 INEZ was narrowly defeated when well backed on debut and looks well placed to go one better. SONTAY will strip fitter for an encouraging debut and maps well. MAJOR LADY was given a solid hit out in a recent jumpout and responded well. SAVEE has been consistent and looks the other main hope. Selections: 3,12,4,11 Suggested Bet: Inez to win Race 3 AMERIGO MAN was no match for Trapeze Warrior on debut but there was a big gap to the rest and that looks the right form of the raced brigade. STARTON has been jumping out well and looks suited at this trip on debut. LEEONARDO has the wide draw to contend with but struck trouble at a crucial stage on debut and the chute start can work out ok for wide draws. LUIJZIKA has been jumping out well enough to respect. Selections: 2,9,18,13 Suggested Bet: Amerigo Man to win Race 4 BOONDOCKS stuck on ok in a strong maiden last start, he swaps winkers for blinkers and will make his own luck. THE AUTUMN BELLE bumped into a smart one first up and looks suited stepping up to 1600m. PAHIR PLAN will strip fitter second up and also looks suited by the rise in trip. QUEEN BEIRA should be approaching her peak and is another that should appreciate 1600m. Selections: 6,14,4,13 Suggested Bet: Boondocks to win Race 5 MAKALU endured a tough run first up and is a previous second up winner. LADY TINO is fit, consistent and looks suited dropping back to 1600m. YOSEMITE FALLS was never in the game from the back of the field first up and may roll kore forward. BATTLE SOUND, BLESK and PEDANTE have claims. Selections: 4,1,11,7 Suggested Bet: Makalu each way Race 6 TEWKESBURY had no excuses last start but Dublin Journal has franked that form since. BRUNGLE RAIDER will strip fitter third up and any rain would be a bonus. MILETUS had excuses in the same race as Tewkesbury last time after doing plenty of early work. STORMY GREY looks next best. Selections: 6,1,10,5 Suggested Bet: Playing multiples around 6,1 & 10 Race 7 SHAMBO was well ridden to score last start and has been kept fresh for this. RUSSIAN FRONT is a previous first up winner and has been jumping out quite well. STARLEA will strip fitter and her second up record is sound. NEW HAMPSHIRE, HYDRO STAR, NICAJON and PROPICE are in the mix. Selections: 5,10,11,7 Suggested Bet: Shambo each way Race 8 PERFECT ENDING has jumped out well to resume and doesn’t look badly treated after the claim. MAGARTEN has shown promise, he also gets in ok after the claim and has jumped out nicely. KEW PLAYER will strip fitter third up and worked home strongly last start. CHARMING DI, DIDLEY SQUAT, HARMONIOUS SENORA and NUMPTY have claims in a tough finish. Selections: 7,5,6,11 Suggested Bet: Perfect Ending each way Market Market
