The Scout: NBA Finals Game 4 Posted on October 6, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers Anthony Davis got into early foul trouble in Game 3 and from there it was the Jimmy Butler show as Miami’s main man put up an historic triple-double. On stats alone, it was a typical night for LeBron with 25 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Alarmingly, he also had eight turnovers, but these can be attributed largely to his wingman (AD) being absent for such large chunks of the game. LeBron is fully aware of the NBA narrative and how his legacy will be impacted by these Finals. He will HATE that he was outplayed by Jimmy Butler and the plaudits Jimmy has gotten over the last two days. I’m expecting an uber-aggressive LeBron to show up here in Game 4. More court time for AD means more easy assist opportunities for LeBron while the points and rebounds will take care of themselves (as they have his whole career). The King is averaging 27 points, 10.6 rebounds, 8.3 assists through the first three games in this series, and I think we see a slight bump in Game 4 as he claims his 11th NBA Finals triple-double.
