The Scout: NBA Finals Game 2 Posted on June 2, 2019June 2, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Golden State Warriors @ Toronto Raptors 3rd June, 8.05am WST Game 1 is in the books with the Raptors defending the first of two home court matches in a decisive 118-109 victory. For the Warriors, it was the first game 1 loss in their run of five straight Finals appearances. Toronto were super in Game 1. In their first ever Finals appearance they did not appear at all overawed by the experience, and with all eyes on former Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard, it was Pascal Siakam who stole the show with 32 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks. A third straight triple-double for Draymond Green and 34 points for Stephen Curry were not enough for the Warriors who looked out of synch on both ends of the floor. On defense they gave the Raptors far too many open looks for a side of that calibre – something I expect Steve Kerr to remedy here in Game 2. Seven game playoff series are built for teams to make adjustments game to game and there’s no coach better at this than Steve Kerr. I’m expecting him to tweak the starting lineup, make better use of DeMarcus Cousins and the reserves, and come away with the W in Game 2. Suggested Bet: Golden State Warriors WIN @ $2.12* *Odds correct as at 12.15pm WST 2nd June 2019. Market Market
