The Scout: EPL Matchday 23 Posted on January 18, 2019February 1, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Watford vs Burnley 19th January, 11pm WST Watford’s roller coaster season may have stabilized after last week’s away win over Crystal Palace. Despite being their first win in four matches, the Hornets remain in 7th spot on the League table. 15th placed Burnley are on a serious tear! They’ve won their last three games with a combined score of 6-2 in that time, and now find themselves a full game clear of the relegation zone. Burnley’s manager Sean Dyche will be looking to take advantage of Watford’s questionable defense which has kept just one clean sheet in their last 10 home games in the Premier League. The Clarets have had some decent attacking form to match, scoring at least one goal in each of their last five Premier League fixtures. In 7 of Watford’s last 8 Premier League fixtures both teams have scored, and I think this is a great option here again. Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score @ $1.79* Arsenal vs Chelsea 20th January, 1:30 am WST The London Derby is match of the round as Arsenal host Chelsea with the result potentially deciding which of these teams will be playing Champions League football next season. Arsenal have been on the decline, cemented by a bitterly disappointing 1-0 loss to West Ham last week. Sitting 5th on the table, Arsenal have managed just one win in their last four matches and now have Manchester United tied with them on points. Chelsea seem to have found their feet again after a poor end to the year. They are undefeated in their last four matches and are sitting 4th, six points clear of Arsenal. The Blues’ defense has shown a vulnerability however having conceded in four of their last five away games. Arsenal’s Gabonese striker, Pierre−Emerick Aubameyang is tied with Harry Kane for the most goals this season. Since joining Arsenal, Aubameyang has scored 24 goals in 35 Premier League appearances with 14 coming in his 22 games (two as sub) this season. Suggested Bet: Pierre−Emerick Aubameyang Anytime Goal Scorer @ $2.35* Liverpool vs Crystal Palace 19th January, 11pm WST League leaders Liverpool have had a difficult start to 2019, with losses to Manchester City and Wolverhampton (FA Cup) within the space of a week. Despite this, and following last weekend’s 1-0 away win against Brighton, the Reds remain four points clear at the top of the League table. Crystal Palace have moved to 14th off the back of a six game span of three wins, a draw and two losses. All this counts for little as the Eagles (who have lost five of their last eight away matches in the Premier League) travel to Anfield to play the best team in the League. Liverpool are undefeated at home this season in the Premier League, conceding just three goals across 10 matches. This record is thanks largely to one man; Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk who has totally transformed Liverpool’s defensive identity. At Anfield, The Reds have kept a clean sheet in 12 of their last 15 Premier League matches. Meanwhile Crystal Palace have struggled to score goals all season, with just 20 coming from their 22 matches. All doesn’t bode well for a side averaging less than a goal a game coming up against not only the best defense in the Premier League, but one of the best in the world. Suggested Bet: Only Liverpool To Score @ $1.81* *Odds correct as at 8am WST 18th January 2019. Market Market
