Sully’s NRL Round 9 Preview Posted on April 27, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan After a massive Anzac round the NRL action returns to Thursday night with last start winners the Broncos at home taking on a Panthers side currently sitting in 14th spot on the ladder. The unlucky Rabbitohs take on the aggressive Sea Eagles whose perfect away record in 2017 will be put to the test on Friday night. Also on Friday the Cowboys, who may see Jonathan Thurston return early, confront an Eels side who’s mojo has returned in the last fortnight. Super Saturday sees the Titans at home against the Knights who will be buoyed by their victory over them in round 2. The Bulldogs and Raiders both enter this round 9 clash on the back of close losses and West Tigers with a 2 from 3 record since Coach Cleary arrived host the Sharks looking to bounce back after last week’s shock loss. Undoubtedly Sunday sees the games of the round where the Warriors play host to the Roosters and it is 1 versus 2 to finish with the Dragons hosting the Storm.
