Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on November 28, 2025November 28, 2025 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 TIGER TANK gave a fair bit of cheek last start behind Storm Away and subsequent winner Conchetta’s Dream in a 1200m maiden at Belmont. He has steadily improved at each run and should be able to take full advantage of his inside barrier draw and the first look at the Pinjarra fence. Looks a great chance to lead, dictate and kick hard into the corner. LADY ENFIELD can park up close handy on debut and the trial form has been enhanced through the first-up victory of Flash Dancer. HURRICANE HARRY impressed first-up when finishing off not second behind Like Clockwork. Unfortunately looks destined to once again do it tough from a tricky barrier. INTIMIDATION TIME ran a handy race on debut at 60-1. Numbers: 1 – 10 – 2 – 9 Suggested Bet – TIGER TANK WIN RACE 2 DON’T WINK ran out of her skin first-up in the Belgravia when finishing within a length of undefeated star King of Light as well as many other quality 3 year old sprinters, including Snitzalatte who goes around in the Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic on Saturday and then went to the Placid Ark when surprisingly settling off speed. Back into a maiden and looks hard to beat. BANNERED makes his return off the back of a 400m jump out win and has all the quality 2 year old winter Saturday form lines to his name including placing to Burgess Queen Stakes winner Playin’ It Sweet and Belgravia / Fairetha / WA Guineas winner King Of Light. CONDUCTIVE makes her debut off some encouraging trials. LET’S TALK LEGS is the half sister to Kay Cee / September Born and is a watch on debut. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 12 – 13 Suggested Bet – DON’T WINK WIN RACE 3 FINAL CALL has finished in the money at three of four and this probably looks one of the weaker races that he has contested in his short career to date. Looks like he’ll get out over ground this preparation and provided he can get across to the breeze without burning too much early fuel then this certainly looks winnable for him. LA EXCELLENCE ran well fresh behind Statewide and then was solid at Belmont second-up behind what looks a handy filly. SAINTY CULLITY resumed without a trial and comes through the Storm Away / Conchetta’s Dream / Tiger Tank form race. Was once going around favourite in Saturday events, now a 10 start maiden. MAXIMUS BON is 2 months between runs heading across to WA and does have a Packenham 1400m placing to his name (albeit on the synth). Numbers: 5 – 2 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – FINAL CALL WIN RACE 4 SEVEN CANDLES has always looked a nice horse. He was sent out a $4.60 chance on debut when beaten 4L on a Saturday by speedy filly Nonesospicy back in December 2024 and has since been off the scene for near on a year. He trialled back in March and didn’t make it to the races so has clearly had to work through a set back at some stage but he has again trialled really well for his return. Has a stack of raw talent. XELCIMUS has come back a different horse this time around? First-up at 100-1 was huge and then showed it was no fluke with another massive performance in defeat behind Miss Defies Me. DREAM STAR has had a few quiet trials and it’s great to see Steele Casey given an opportunity with a Peters Investments horse on race day. KAZZAMATAZZ looked like she would benefit from the race day experience. Numbers: 4 – 10 – 16 – 13 Suggested Bet – SEVEN CANDLES WIN RACE 5 VEXATIOUS ROSE has only missed the money once in her life and that was in a C1 behind Battle Commander who has now won a Westspeed Platinum. Always looks like the kind of mare who would stay and she looks to have a bit more fire power and a bit more upside than her rivals here. MACHO ARQUERO has run great races at his last two from a long way off them when finishing third to Masmelo (great run in the Champion Fillies) and then to Fulmine. There’s no stars in these staying maidens and hopefully the connections are rewarded for their patience. REBELNADO won a 1000m trial beating a debut winner and after resuming at 1675m goes straight out to 2000m. Clearly DMac thinks he has toughened up this campaign? BIG KAY DOG can lead and give cheek again. Numbers: 7 – 2 – 3 – 11 Suggested Bet – VEXATIOUS ROSE WIN RACE 6 DANDY’S GEM won a 50+ 2100 at Belmont and then was thrown into a 60+ Graduation back in distance at 1800m and wasn’t disgraced at all beaten under 2L by Summer’s Legacy and Magna’s Choice (both run Saturday at Ascot). Back to her proven grade and a great use of the Holly Nottle claim. WAR MATTERS really needs to stand up and be counted now. He’s not going to find a weaker race in the metro/provincial area than these 50+ staying races and he’s been well supported on a few occasions recently. FREEDOM ESCAPE was a huge run at his WA debut. Settled a clear last and sustained a big run over the last 800m to run past a few late. Back in grade and senior rider on. REEL SERENITY is out to her preferred distance and is in great order. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – DANDY’S GEM WIN RACE 7 HERAULT is a lightly raced 3 year old who looks to have a bit more up his sleeve in terms of progression and improvement compared to his older rivals, many of whom have been in and around this grade for a long time. Expect CJP will ride him cold and look to join the three deep line as it builds into the race. ALMAYA is a one paced, grinding type who has hit a bit of form and these 50+ races are perfect for him. BELLE JOURNEE was taken to Narrogin and scored a 1720m win and gave the impression that she would have no troubles running out the 2100m now. ROCK IN WONDER has the shades removed as they look to step him out over ground and get him to settle a bit better in the middle stages. Numbers: 11 – 3 – 8 – 2 Suggested Bet – HERAULT WIN RACE 8 ASTRO WORLD was only nabbed by the highly progressive and promising Fast Harry last start at Ascot in a 60+ Graduation 1400m. Fast Harry will go around in a 66+ 1400 at Ascot on Saturday so we’ll get a sighter into the form line and hopefully the Pinjarra surface is playing evenly because she’ll need it from her wide alley. In a full field of 16 there’s guaranteed to be a three deep line for her. SHOWLAS is going to be winning plenty of races with her positive racing pattern and can again roll forward into a spot. KELORA just can’t quite pinch one. He’s placed at his last five and again maps to get the run of the race. OUR NEMESIS has found form in the Great Southern and has shown previously that he’s capable at this level. Numbers: 16 – 13 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – ASTRO WORLD WIN RACE 9 MUDDY WATERS won back to back races before heading to a 60+ Graduation where nothing really went right for him in the home straight. He was beaten a 7L margin but with clear galloping room could have easily finished much closer. If The Crimson Pirate was to win on Saturday at Ascot in the 60+ 1800 it will make him attractive back into a C3. Will need eachway given the shocking gate but again, like Astro world in the previous, three deep train in capacity line-up. SWEET SURRENDER looks the kind of mare who will work her way through the grades this prep. OUR MATE ARCHIE was the target of support at odds last start in a 66+. Big drop in grade for him and another gear change. SHAULA is holding form really well. Numbers: 1 – 10 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – MUDDY WATERS EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,5,6,9,13 3,8,11 1,4,9,13,16 1,2,7,10 Market Market
