Race 1

HARD OF HEART has been game at all three runs this preparation. This is his easiest assignment yet and if he jumps can go close. ARRUM BOY continues to pick up handy cheques. STREET FURY got all the favours and won well first-up. DAINTY PAT resumes without a trial, she is a talent.

NOT AGAIN KEN is a bit of an all or nothing commodity. More than capable of blowing these types out of the water. PUSH TO PASS won very well last start when tramping wide throughout. JUICING CARROTS is racing himself into some form. MOSSERATTI may have a few traffic issues to overcome.

TOP OF THE CLASS will relish the rise in trip and should be able to get to the outside rounding the home corner. CELEBRITY DREAM will likely box seat from the inside and slightly alter her usual racing pattern. FONTAINEBLEAU should lob outside the lead and controls the race from there. AWESOME AS was an impressive winner last start.

GAULOIS was an eye catcher in the WA Guineas when no better than three and four deep throughout. SALUBRIOUS looks far better suited at this sort of trip. TRULY BELONG is a minor query at the trip but shouldn’t spend a penny from the inside. REYKJAVIK is good enough to win this.

Race 5

GET OVER IT showed his class last start to overcome a few hindrances in the home straight. This is a similar line-up and no tougher. CLASSICAL PRINCE was very handy in that same race and goes well second-up. MY GREEK BOY should charge across and sit outside the leader, he is game. RED PUBLISHER is drawn woefully but capable of working in races.

Race 6

REGAL MOON should be able to find a position three wide with cover and the leaders will be mowing turf out in front. WHERE’S WALLY is super talented and the only query on him is the sprint trip. If this was 1200m he would be in the red. SECRET ASSAULT could prove to be the value in the race. SATURIA brings nice 3 year old form to this race.

Race 7

TRAP FOR FOOLS has burst onto the scene as a live Perth Cup hope. If he reproduces any of his recent runs he will run them ragged again. FALCON CREST gets a nice weight swing on the favourite and is honest as they come. VERY TEMPTING will stay all day and the faster they go the better for her. SHINTA MANI is consistent but may end up in the breeze again if they walk.

Race 8

ACHERNAR STAR was held up at crucial stages in the Guineas and savaged the line. Expect him to position much closer to the speed. PERFECT JEWEL likely ends up three wide with cover and has an electric turn of foot. BLACK HEART BART deserves a WA Group 1 and this is the best chance he will get. He is clearly the one to beat. MONEY MAHER should end up in a similar spot to when he won the Fairetha.

Race 9

GOMER WIPPLE should get a very soft run behind a genuine tempo and work into the clear turning for home. WRINKLY is flying but needs to lump a big weight and potentially cop more pressure than recent weeks. ROGANELLA box seats and gets a great chance. SENSO is going better than it reads on paper.
