RACE 2 No. 2 Libran

Chris Waller trained import who has had plenty of success since reaching our shores winning on multiple occasions. Tidy effort first up behind the champ Winx beaten 8.5 lengths, keep in mind he was beaten 8.8 lengths by the same horse first up last prep before going on to win second up over tomorrow’s 2000m trip at Randwick. Think he can repeat that effort tomorrow.

RACE 7 No. 7 Egg Tart

Queensland Oaks winning mare who put in a blinder first up at Randwick finishing right on the heels of the placegetters. If not for being held up in the straight she would have finished in the top three and perhaps even challenged the winner. She had excuses in the spring suffering an eye injury however appears to be right back on top of her game now. Just wins!

RACE 8 No. 9 Radipole

Victorian visitor who looks well worth an each-way ticket at good odds tomorrow. Only the one run back from a break when closing off strongly at Flemington after being held up early in the straight. Wins have been in the 1600-1800 metre range suggesting the 1500m trip tomorrow is slightly short of his best however I like the fact he’s 4 weeks between runs which keeps him nice and fresh.
