RACE 4 No.5 Slots

Whilst not the best mare engaged in this race she may be the best placed. Super consistent of late winning at Doomben three starts back before no luck at the Gold Coast next time out, latest run was a rattling 2nd behind Howmuchdoyouloveme in the Takeover Target at Gosford a month back. She handles soft ground which will be the rating tomorrow and is worth a few dollars at the good price.

RACE 6 No.4 Hasselhoof

Kiwi raider who is yet to be beaten at 6 starts to date at home. He successfully made the step up from restricted class galloper to Group 2 winner last time out at Ellerslie in easy fashion. Yes it wasn’t the strongest Group 2 going around however he could only win which he did and convincingly at that. He’ll park handy in the run tomorrow and prove very hard to beat.

RACE 7 No.3 Counterattack

Chris Waller trained Redoute’s Choice colt who resumes here off a last start Group 1 3rd in the Coolmore at Flemington in the spring behind stablemate Japonisme. He’s a good horse fresh having won 2 of his 4 attempts and placing the other occasions, he’s had a couple of trials in preparation for his return and the early money suggests he’s all set and ready to go.
