Chris’ Randwick Best Bets Posted on June 23, 2017June 29, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 1 No. 1 Coorg Godolphin trained galloper who looks to be well over the odds in the early markets for tomorrow’s opening race. Placed behind a couple of smart types at his first couple of runs before being tipped out he resumed with a close up effort at Hawkesbury when green in the straight. He then got back in a slowly run affair at Gosford before hitting the line late. Just needs things to go his way to rate a definite value chance tomorrow. RACE 7 No. 6 Sir Bacchus Chris Waller trained galloper who looks all set to break through tomorrow at his fourth run back from a break. He’s basically had nothing go his way all three runs this campaign & drops back to the 1200m trip which set up perfectly for him being a victor over the distance at 5 of his 9 attempts. Ready to win. SuperPick - Race 7 No. 6 Sir Bacchus - Money Back – Run 2nd RACE 5 No. 4 Collateral Did the right thing by this column’s followers last Saturday & no reason he can’t back up & win again. Loves the wet ground & just continues to race well, last week was a big step up from midweek to Saturday grade when grinding hard all the way down the straight to wear down the leader late. Happy to stick with him again tomorrow.
