Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 23, 2017June 23, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: TABTOUCH MS PACE FANCI A DANCE (9) won four of his last six starts before a spell, highlighted by his defeat of Natural Disaster. He resumed with a dominant 1.55.8 win from a bad draw and can repeat the dose here. CAMPORA (8) was unplaced for the first time this campaign when held up for a run and is the other class runner. BAD ROUND (2) is racing extremely consistently and is well drawn. KERRIN JOSEPH (11) hasn’t had much luck at his last two and can run into the money. Tips: 9 8 2 11 Suggested Bet: FANCI A DANCE (9) to win. Race 2: CHRISTMAS IN JULY AT THE BEAU RIVAGE MS PACE STROGANOFF (1) has looked to have had his chances to lead and win recently but has found one or two better than him on the night. He should lead again and will give them something to catch. THE STORM CHIEF (9) ran on to be placed here on Tuesday and will be charging home if the early tempo is solid. CERATO (2) did too much work last start but is better drawn here and can improve. PAY ME CULLEN (10) had every chance and was disappointing on Tuesday but should enjoy a soft run. Tips: 1 9 2 10 Suggested Bet: STROGANOFF (1) to win. Race 3: TROTSYND – THE CHEAPEST AND EASIEST WAY TO OWN A HORSE MS PACE JASON RULZ (6) broke through for his first WA win in a weaker field at Narrogin and then wasn’t disgraced when 6th to Vanquished. He is the class runner of this field and won’t get many easier chances to record a metro win. EL HOMBRE (11) is racing extremely well in mobile events and his last start from the stand can be overlooked. He returns to the mobile tonight and can play a part. RABCHENKO (2) looks the leader and will give them something to catch. LAGOON STRIDE (1) ran 2nd from this draw last start and can be placed again. Tips: 6 11 2 1 Suggested Bet: EL HOMBRE (11) each way. Race 4: 2YO WESTSIRED MS PACE COTT BEACH (2) won four on end in good style before lowering her colours to Miss Sangrial twice. She had a short freshen up and looks the one to beat from her nice draw. INFINITE SYMBOL (1) has got better at each run, culminating in wins at his last three starts. He was particularly impressive in working early before being too strong for THE WAR NURSE (4) in 1.56.7 here last week and is the obvious danger. THE WAR NURSE (4) had her chance in that race and is next best. FIGHT SONG (12) looks a place chance. Tips: 2 1 4 12 Suggested Bet: COTT BEACH (2) to win. Race 5: BUY A SHARE IN A HORSE TODAY WITH TROTSYND MS PACE CHICAGO BULL (8) was simply breathtaking at his return when he posted a 1.53.2 victory. He is better suited over this journey and should prove far too good. HIDDEN BAD (1) is racing well and looks a great place chance from the pole. TOMMY BE GOOD (12) is flying in stands and can be in the money if he transfers that to the mobile. JAMBIANI (3) has won his last two in style and shouldn’t be far away again. Tips: 8 1 12 3 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (8) to win. Race 6: 3YO WESTSIRED MS PACE SARAH GOODY (2) led throughout in 1.54.3 two starts back before running on from a wide draw to finish a solid 5th at this track. She takes on the boys tonight but looks the leader and winner. BOB WHEEL (9) is the other class runner but disappointed last start and has a horror draw. ADDA KRAIT (5) improved considerably to win in 1.55.7 on Monday and looks the only other winning chance. SELF RELIANT (1) is drawn to be a place chance. Tips: 2 9 5 1 Suggested Bet: SARAH GOODY (2) to win. Race 7: WINTER CUP MS PACE THE BUCKET LIST (6) returned from a spell with a slashing 2nd to TRICKY STYX (5) before beating a similar field last week. He is likely to settle just off the pace and will be charging home again. BEAUDIENE BOAZ (8) is struggling to win but there was nothing wrong with his effort in finishing 3rd to THE BUCKET LIST (6) and is too good to overlook. TRICKY STYX (5) had a nice run but was impressive in her win over most of these. RUN ONEOVER (9) would be a big chance but his tendency to over race is against him at this trip. Tips: 6 8 5 9 Suggested Bet: THE BUCKET LIST (6) to win. Race 8: $7 PINTS AT JP`S SPORTSBAR THE LOMBARDO FILLIES AND MARES QUALIFYING HEAT 3 BETTER B CHEVRON (4) has won five of her last eight starts including a comfortable victory here against the fillies last week. She takes on the older mares tonight but will give a great sight. MAIA MAGUIRE (3) led in the Races For Roses and was only beaten by Sheer Rocknroll two starts back and must be considered from a favourable draw. MADAME CROUPIER (6) won two on end in easier company before a freshen-up and has the ability. DONEGAL RUNDLECREEK (7) ran a great 2nd at her Australian debut but is drawn wide. Tips: 4 3 6 7 Suggested Bet: BETTER B CHEVRON (4) to win. Race 9: TRY OUR NEW WINTER MENU AT STEELO`S WESTBRED MS PACE SOHO WALL STREET (8) is low-flying and followed a good 4th to Chicago Bull with a strong win from the breeze in 1.55.9 here last week. He should sit outside JOHNNY DISCO (2) and will be hard to hold out. JOHNNY DISCO (2) looks the only other winning chance and should give a great sight in front. FOREVER REMEMBERED (3) is racing well and will be suited by the likely solid tempo. SEA CIDER (1) is drawn to get a lovely run and is a place chance if she sits. Tips: 8 2 3 1 Suggested Bet: SOHO WALL STREET (8) to win. SuperPick - Race 9 No. 8 SOHO WALL STREET - Money Back – Run 2nd Race 10: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU MS PACE ATLASTALONE (9) isn’t racing as well as earlier in the season but his last two efforts were promising and he is the class runner of this field. He has good gate speed and can overcome his wide draw quickly and give a great sight. CELESTIAL RULER (2) was a great 2nd to Overboard Again in quick time three starts back and hasn’t had any luck at his subsequent starts. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (8) was well driven to finish a close 2nd here last week and this field isn’t any stronger. SIR NICHOLAS (1) trialled nicely recently and could be value. Tips: 9 2 8 1 Suggested Bet: ATLASTALONE (9) to win. Bet Now
