NFL – Green Bay Packers v Washington Redskins

Monday January 11, 5.40 am, FedEx Field

Weather 16 degrees rain and showers – Outdoor stadium

Game rating – Packers 23 v Redskins 22

The top of the NFC East Washington Redskins (9-6) host the Wild Card entrants from NFC North the Green Bay Packers (10-6).  Both teams have not played each other this season and come into this final with differing form lines.  The Reds have been on a late season roll winning 6 of 9 and their past four straight up.  It would be fair to say the Packers have struggled with momentum winning 4 of 9 and losing their past two games home and away.

Prediction

The Redskins finished off their regular season with a (34-23) away win over the Dallas Cowboys and the Packers lost at home to the Vikings (20-13).  This season the Redskins have not beaten a side in the play-offs whilst the Packers have beaten the Seahawks and the Vikings.  Whilst the Redskins have been great at home 6-2 they have a poor overall record against the Packers 6-1-1 ATS and the Redskins are a strong 7-3 SU on the road.  Packers Tackle David Bakhtiari is questionable after not training Wednesday while Running Back Matt Jones is unlikely for the Redskins.  The Packers can find some form here and beat the Redskins.

Suggested Bets

The Packers to win at $1.82 and take the -1 at $1.90.
