He has only missed the placings in 2 of his 13 runs over this distance and is dropping a long way in grade compared to previous outings over varying trips. He only needs to improve a box rise to have his chance of reclaiming his title of the slickest in the West.

Brilliant chaser who has an imposing record over this trip, especially from this draw, winning 3 of her 4 runs in pink. Best to overlook her latest effort when finishing midfield in an Anniversary Cup heat and judge her on her previous 4 outings where she finished in the top 3 in each against some top-notch chasers. Expect her to find her winning best in this.

Race 8 – No 8  Lachlan Monelli

Recently credited with the AGRA Run of the Month for November when unleashing a powerful burst from last to salute in 30.47 from the opposite side of the draw 2 runs ago. He has shown a liking for the outside in the past as well, winning his only start here in pink a PB of 30.05. He will definitely find this easier than recent line ups and only bad luck should see him being beaten tonight.
