Race 5 – No. 2  Burnt Star

Down on form but has had plenty of excuses at his past three. Prior to those handful of outings he had finished no further back than 3rd in ten starts in a row over 520m and looks as though he’ll appreciate the rise to 600m. Worth following.

Race 8 – No. 3  West On Margaret

Well-bred chaser yet to be seen over this trip but she is a last start winner in O.K time over 490m at Mandurah. Drawn to receive a soft trip and is capable of a another forward showing at just her third career start.

Race 9 – No. 2  Driftin’ Away

Showed what he is capable of when saluting by over 3 lengths at his third local start, posting a handy 30.22. Improving with each outing and has the draw to double up.
