Race 3 – No. 2  Akali

Out of form but has had excuses, finding trouble in the majority of her past eight since last winning. Victorious in her only exit from this draw over the trip and will be glad to see the back of star short courser ROLL OUT, who she has been beaten by in 7 of her past 8. Must be respected from this alley.

Race 5 – No. 5  Junk Yard Spot

Had a solid record from this awkward alley and an even better one over this trip, winning 3 of 4. Mixing form over varying distances at Mandurah of late but the return to headquarters could see him find his best.

Race 8 – No. 8  Prost

Inexperienced chaser who has shown plenty of early dash to lead all the way in his only two WA runs so far. Will find this significantly tougher but if he manages to cross from the wide draw, he is capable of pinching this and in turn, keeping his impeccable local record in tact.
