Race 1

SUN PUBLISHER (3) has returned in solid form and looks better suited from the draw and class of this race, looms as a major player in this. NUTBUSH GIRL (1) didn’t excite on WA debut but has the nice draw to improve, moves up to the middle distance which creates interest as we have only seen her over the shorts. BACK ON LINE (6) drops in grade and has been performing well, should be further improved in this. HEARTOFAHLIA (5) is capable but draws awkward and is so-so from the gate. MAJOR BLUE EYES (10) is ideally drawn to get a good run and be a place chance. ROCKSTAR QUALITY (11) first up for the new stable and should get home well, novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: SUN PUBLISHER (3) to win.

Race 2

AMALFI KNIGHT (7) was outstanding in a recent trial and meets a simple equation, if she does everything right she will win, but she will be short enough off the back of that trial. LIANAKA (1) has the nice draw and has shown promise, looks a strong each way chance. LAST KING OF CAPEL (5) is racing soundly but faces an awkward draw with TOO FAR AWAY TED (6) who did plenty of work last start and battled on well. RAVENOUS (4) trialled up soundly and is a novelty chance at longer odds with TEXAS STORM (10) who is drawn to get a lovely run.

Tips: 7 1 5 6

Suggested Bet: LIANAKA (1) to place.

Race 3

Strong 3yo race upcoming here, MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (7) for followers of this blog know that he is a horse I have a lot of time for and surprise surprise, I am with him again, think this is effectively a slight drop in grade for him and think he will be driven forward and run a big race. RUMBLE STRIP (8) has been massive in his most recent wins but at the short quote he will have to be big again. RUNKLE CRUNCH (9) beat some talented older horses in a recent trial and looks to have plenty of high speed, should run well but the draw is challenging. CAPTAINS CREEK (4) had his chance last time out but has the draw advantage and should be close to them. LOU LAMOUR (5) and PINJARRA ROCKS (6) both racing well and have plenty of early speed to use if need be. MYSTA MOON WALKER (11) will be running on as a top 4 contender potentially.

Suggested Bet: MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (7) each way.

Race 4

Open race, BURGHLEY SHARD (7) has been racing well and been doing some work in his races, likely to head forward again here and there is a chance he could lead but if he doesn’t he should still be close to the speed in this and can go close. MAJOR MANHATTAN (12) had every chance last time out but is racing consistently and will look threatening at some stage again. SIANGDI (10) ideally drawn and is improving nicely as she races here in WA. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (1) was better last time out and can use his speed early to position up nicely. LUKE ATTACK (6) can be a mixed bag but hit the line soundly last run. LUKES MISTAKE (5) falls into the same category. ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (9) might need this run from the tough draw.

Suggested Bet: BURGHLEY SHARD (7) each way

Race 5

MORE SASS (12) returns and has an abundance of talent and closing speed, looks to be a bit on in the early stages and will be running on strongly and will look dangerous. WATCH ME WAVE (11) was eye catching last run after being so far off them in the middle stages, has a nice draw as she is already in the field and should be finishing off strongly. MISS STEFANI (9) drops in grade on her last run and can do some work, capable of improvement in this. STATE MY CASE (8) is ready to win a race but this draw is challenging. FOLLOW MY STRIDE (1) has the draw and early speed to feature into a top 4 position, she is mixing her form. JOLTED CHARM (3) likely heads forward and has won her last two and has the services of Mikayla Jones who drives in her first race tonight. MADDY LOU (5) could be a major player if she found the top but there is some speed to her inside, she was solid on Friday night. MADDY ROCKS (10) needs luck from the draw.

Suggested Bet: MORE SASS (12) each way.

Race 6

SISTER CHERIE (7) has race fitness under her belt and this looks to suit her, she can be put into the race and looks a strong each way chance in this. FRANCO SHERIFF (6) is on return but showed plenty of promise last time in, keep safe in this. ADVANTAGE (4) trialled well but he can be a bit of a mixed bag at times, has the talent and most importantly the draw advantage. PUSHBUTTON ROCK (1) has the lovely draw and looks to settle close to the speed, should be in the money. IM SPIDERMAN (3) is capable but needs to find the top. ROCK ME OVER (8) will be running on.

Tips: 7 6 4 1

Suggested Bet: SISTER CHERIE (7) each way.

Race 7

ALDEBARAN BOYD (4) looks to use his early speed and bounce to the top and will be mighty hard to beat again. MAJESTIC GA GA (5) meets him on equal terms and is second up today, she will be fitter and is very talented. LUVAFLAIR (9) will be running on from her wide draw, likely to get back and run on. LINE THE STARZZZ (2) can improve but she’s never been a huge fan of mobiles. ALDEBARAN SUNDOWN (3) was better last time out and can be a novelty chance here with NICKYS SON (7) who is improving.

Tips: 4 5 9 7

Suggested Bet: ALDEBARAN BOYD (4) to win.

Race 8

OPAL HUNTER (9) is second up and a special talent, should be winning this with a leg in the air. CLOUD NINE (8) drops in grade and looks to run a solid race here. IM EUGENE (5) is better suited to run well in this, keep safe. BLOCKJORG (6) likes the distance but isn’t at her best currently and ICY COLD (7) is speedy and can play a part if she could cross early but looks difficult and had no luck first up. COURAGE OF LOMBO (2) a place to novelty chance with her early speed.
