Race 1

Open race to kick things off. ROCKIN THE TREND (11) was solid in her win at Wagin, any repeat near that performance would see her go close in this. STRIKE MASTER (9) is always there abouts, but he has been costly to punters, could go up a shortish quote and the draw hurts, it’s not that he can’t win, but I’d be searching for value in an open race. FIREBALL FRIDAY (3) doesn’t win out of turn, but her form has been sound as of late. ASHIMA (2) a novelty hope with her early speed. SONIC SEELSTER (8) can run into the money, but draw isn’t ideal. BONSTAR (10) has come back soundly and is a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: ROCKIN THE TREND (11) each way.

Race 2

SPIRITED WHITBY (4) has put in spirited performances to start her career, she has a bit of upside and looks a major player in this. KIA ORA LOU (6) should have benefitted from the first up run, she has shown promise and expecting a solid run from her, just an awkward draw. ULTIMATE SASS (1) can improve from the draw, novelty hope. ICANPLAY (2) is fitter and has some early speed. OUR SERAPHINA (3) looks suited into this grade and should be respected. MISS MAKE BELIEVE (10) drawn to get a good run and has shown promise.

Suggested Bet: SPIRITED WHITBY (4) to win.

Race 3

STAR OF ORION (2) gave cheek last time out and should be further improved again, the little horse has speed and could lead again and give them something to chase at each way odds. DELULU (8) has been racing well this time in and looks a major player. MAJOR DISCO (7) will improve and has good ability, winning chance. THE MERRY MAKER (3) and LUZIA (4) novelty chances at odds with WICKED LOVER (6) who has an awkward draw but is capable.

Tips: 2 8 7 3

Suggested Bet: STAR OF ORION (2) each way.

Race 4

LADY DELA HOYA (8) has the brilliant early speed and can see her charging across and being a major chance to cross, looked like she won with something in reserve at Pinjarra and think she will go close again. MISS SHAHJA (1) has ability, liked her return run and can settle close enough, solid chanc. BIG BOZZ (4) comes in fresh and can run well. TAKE A HIKE (5) returns and has some early speed, not the worst in this. APOLOGIZE (6) disappointed last time out but is capable of better. MINOR CATASTROPHE (7) has an awkward draw to contend with. Few in this have convictions.

Tips: 8 1 4 5

Suggested Bet: LADY DELA HOYA (8) to win.

Race 5

OUR RICH CARGO (6) is a progressive type, comes in one spot closer with MAJOR TYPHOON (5) sent to the outside after causing a false start at Wagin. Not a quick front line and though OUR RICH CARGO (6) could nearly cross and from there, on what we have seen, looks hard to beat. GELSOMINO AMAL (12) is a solid type, and this is the right grade but, its just a tricky draw. SUKHOVEY WINDCHIME (1) has shown ability, nice draw to be handy. ULTIMATE EVENT (3) lacks early speed but racing soundly. AMERICAN TYPHOON (10) would have been high up in my thoughts if not disappointing last time out, suitable grade to bounce back, just needs some luck.

Suggested Bet: OUR RICH CARGO (6) to win.

Race 6

THIS TIME JACKO (2) has the good draw, looks a chance to work to the top and on his best effort, I think it could indeed be this time for Jacko. JACK MANNIX (3) was solid last time out and did it at both ends, doesn’t win out of turn, but none of these really fall into that category. STRAUNYS SISTER (7) strips fitter and looks to improve, suitable grade and likely well thought of in the market. VYBRANT (6) rarely far away. TELL ITIN HEAVEN (5) fitter but a tricky little draw.

Tips: 2 7 3 5

Suggested Bet: THIS TIME JACKO (2) to win.

Race 7

GIVE ME JOY (5) comes back in and looks a high-speed type, well placed in this but likely to go around at very short odds. BUNJIL MAN (4) looks an improver, this horse has shown good promise in previous runs and with fitness can run a race. MORE THAN HONOURED (7) comes in with more fitness and small field suits, will be running on well. ZIGGY VERMEER (6) did plenty of work last run but this looks just as tricky from the draw. BARTLETT (1) a novelty hope but lacks tactical speed.

Tips: 5 3 7 6

Suggested Bet: MORE THAN HONOURED (7) each way.

Race 8

TOBY GEORGE (2) looks a nice type, form out of his only run will be strong going forward and think he can get the job done here. STAR ARTISTOCRAT (3) had no luck last run and will likely be driven more conservatively and will be close enough, good place hope. OUR BLUE DIAMOND (1) has had some good draws and gets an opportunity to run in the money again. WILD WINDS (7) looks to have upside but draw makes it challenging.

Tips: 2 3 1 7

Suggested Bet: STAR ARISTOCRAT (3) to place.

Race 9

AMERICAN MACHINE (5) looks a nice type, has plenty of high-speed and this looks suitable, hard to hold out on what we have seen from this horse in races and trials. ALTAS LAST (2) has improved in trials and has a nice draw, should run well in this. SHOOBETCHA (6) has upside but the draw hurts, has ability. WAY OF THE WORLD (3) looks next best to my liking.

Tips: 5 2 6 3

Suggested Bet: AMERICAN MACHINE/ALTAS LAST to Exacta.
