Race 1

HE IS TALKING (7) was driven like the best horse last week and just came up short, looks very hard to beat and what looks to be a potentially easier assignment. STAR ARISTOCRAT (5) has plenty of early speed and could get across to lead and from there has options, looks a logical danger if there is one. OUR BLUE DIAMOND (2) has the speed to get around the pole marker and from there sets up as a novelty chance with STAYCATION (3) who trialled up soundly for this debut assignment. CROWN GENERAL (6) is improving but the draw is awkward.

Suggested Bet: STAR ARISTOCRAT (5) to place.

Race 2

ACUSHLA MACHREE (3) has the handicap advantage over her main rivals and has been stepping safely, looks likely to run to the lead and then it just a matter of whether she can fend them off late, looks hard to beat. BLUTO (7) creates a heap of interest and is under the watchful eye of Gary Hall Jnr. MY COPY (4) returns and creates interest in his own right, hard to get a gauge on him last time in. IDEAL MUSCLE (5) can step well and get into a striking position and is one of the major players. AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (1) has the nice draw and races well in the stands, looks a novelty chance with his manners.

Suggested Bet: ACUSHLA MACHREE (3) to win.

Race 3

DREAM CONTROL (1) comes into this race fresh but has options from the draw, she is a versatile pacer and looks a strong each way chance from the draw and distance. HAVING FUN (5) has good early speed and likely to run in that manner, can stick it out well. MANEA (6) is improving and can camp up just behind them. STAPLETON (10) races better than his form reads and loves these types of races. LUHRSY (3) not at his best, happy to leave him alone here. CODENAME ELLIOT (4) probably needs a bit further but isn’t the worst chance in an open race. DON’T GOIN THEWATER (8) will find this harder from the draw.

Suggested Bet: DREAM CONTROL (1) each way.

Race 4

Open race. IWILL NEVER KNOW (7) has come back solidly and this looks a better class of race for him, expect him to be driven in a positive manner and he has the depth required to handle that, go well. PENTHOUSE (1) lacks a little bit of early toe but from the draw will be close enough and is knocking on the door. SHEHADI (2) was luckless last time out but the run was encouraging, this is right up her alley if she is close to her best. HONOUR THE EAGLE (3) has claims, form is improving and not an overly strong race. ISAIDBOO (8) will get a soft run and be running on with MORE THAN HONOURED (9) who has good closing speed.

Suggested Bet: IWILL NEVER KNOW (7) each way.

Race 5

HUGHEY (6) had his momentum halted last run and still hit the line strongly, his last 5 runs have been encouraging and looks hard to beat in this. GALVINSTON JOHN (5) is a dead set leader and there is some speed underneath, if he can cross, he becomes a winning chance but wouldn’t like to be on him if he isn’t in front. FEELING EMPATHY (7) falls under the same category but form is probably not as consistent when not leading. BAZZA MAC (1) has options from the good draw and can perform well. SUN AND SAND (4) is racing soundly, just needs some speed on which could be the case and then be dangerous at odds. COHLIN (8) poorly drawn and happy to risk him in a race I think he can’t lead in.

Suggested Bet: HUGHEY (6) each way.

Race 6

JUST ALL STYLE (1) has the nice draw and has been luckless in recent runs, she has options from the draw, but I think she will go very close today and on what I have seen, I was very keen. SWEET DUNCAN (5) won first up for the new stable, he can do work in his races and may be required to do that again to gain victory. SPIRITOFANANGEL (7) is dropping in grade and although she doesn’t win out of turn, she has been racing well against stronger. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (8) is ideally drawn and a novelty chance with YOU FLY WITH ME (9) both can follow the rail. GO HOME JO (3) next best.

Suggested Bet: JUST ALL STYLE (1) to win.

Race 7 

HEAVENLY BLISS (5) has the early speed to bounce on the bunny again, was very disappointing last week and if she can go like she did 2-3 starts ago, I am expecting her to go very close but last run is concerning. IM DRINKINDOUBLES (9) has come back well and looks suited to the grade and is versatile, should run well. ASHIMA (6) and BEALAWYER (8) both will be running on strongly but don’t win out of turn. MONEY WELL SPENT (1) nicely draw but hasn’t done a whole lot to get excited about yet.

Tips: 5 9 6 8

Suggested Bet: HEAVENLY BLISS (5) to win.

Race 8

MAJESTIC GA GA (8) broke the standing start hoodoo on Friday night at Gloucester Park, she has beaten some of the better trotters in recent runs and looks incredibly hard to beat if she can carry that confidence and consistency to this race. YANKEE LOVER (7) creates a lot of interest and reads up well for a race of this nature. YOUR KIDDING (3) got out late and hit the line well last time out and is a novelty chance in this along with BEE BEE BEROC (6) and BONNIE RAE (9).

Tips: 8 7 3 6

Suggested Bet: YOUR KIDDING (3) to place.

Race 9

TASHS SPARTAN (6) was gutsy last time out, looks well placed to do some work and go strongly here, shouldn’t have finished where he did last time out. BETTERTHAN SECRET (3) is going well and looks a strong chance in this, she is versatile. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (7) has come back well just has to work with a tough draw. VINTAGE BLU (10) is short enough in the market but will be running on strongly. ROCKIN THE TREND (1) and IDEAL IVANA (2) can be included into your novelties.

Tips: 6 3 7 10
