Race 1

KVINTET HILL (5) was very strong after being KO’d early in his last run, prior to that he was a strong winner, the form lines have held up with Majestic Ga Ga winning a metro trot on Friday night so I can understand the short price, but this is ridiculously short for mine. MRIYA DREAM (4) could provide some resistance as it will head forward and look for the top, at his best he can scare them. ONESTEP AHEAD (3) has good early speed, should be fitter and over the mile he has decent form, keep him safe here. PEACHEE (7) not at her best but can sprint powerfully and must be respected.

Suggested Bet: ONESTEP AHEAD (3) to place.

Race 2

You just must forget that MISS BEJEWELED (2) went around last time out, her previous trials had been very impressive, and they were at this track too, go close. STAR ARISTOCRAT (3) has good early speed and last run hit the line strongly, won’t be far away. MAJESTIC LOMBO (6) was very impressive in a recent trial win at Byford, respect. IS HE TALKING (7) has shown promise in trials, but the draw is awkward on debut. CHRYSOSTOM (8) hit the line well first up and likely to continue improving.

Tips: 2 3 6 7

Suggested Bet: MISS BEJWELED (2) to win.

Race 3

ULTIMATE EVENT (7) fought it out strongly to the line last time out and can-do work in her races, likely to push forward at some point, she will be hard to hold out. GRACEFUL SHARK (2) has upside, the first up effort was decent behind nice types, fitter and represents a drop in grade. OUR SERAPHINA (10) will be running on well; her form has been sound. ELBRUJA (1) trialled up okay and has the draw to feature in the novelties. KIA ORA LOU (5) yet to show her best but has been well thought of, happy till she shows more at this stage.

Suggested Bet: GRACEFUL SHARK (2) each way.

Race 4

HEAVENLY BLISS (3) led and was run down in a lap event last time out, she gets another opportunity here and will be hard to run down on her form. HUGHEY (4) has the perfect draw and has been solid in recent performances, will get the last crack at them. SONIC SEELSTER (10) would win if he could cross but hard to get across the pole marker, performed well from the breeze at the trip a few starts ago and can run well again. SUNPATRA (5) sustained a decent run last time and just peaked late, won’t be far away but has come up way to short. IM DRINKINDOUBLES (7) should be further improved, novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: HUGHEY (4) each way.

Race 5

Open race. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (7) is racing well and there could be enough on in the early stages to suit his racing style in this grade, price is right to have an each way play on him. DEE JAYS BIG BOY (9) is racing well but will likely have to do the work again this. ROAD STAR (3) showed speed last time out and at his best he is right up to these, but he can mix his form. LUKE ATTACK (6) is capable and can do some work. COHLIN (8) needs to lead for mine, so the start is key for him. STAPLETON (10) was a back-to-back winner at this trip a month back and he can be driven assertively, expect him to be sitting close to the speed.

Suggested Bet: GOTA GOOD WARHOL (7) each way.

Race 6

GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (2) was solid two starts ago at this track in good time, thought her last run had merit and think this is a suitable grade to get back into the winners list, go well. MISS VINCENZA (5) should be improved off the first up run, which was solid, she has good high speed and will play a significant role. CIGANDA (10) is second up and has ability, keep her safe. POPPYS LAST DANCE (1) should be approaching peak fitness and has a nice draw, novelty player. FLY SHE CAN (6) is capable and second up, first up run was hard to get a gauge on. AKOYA PEARL (8) has ability but still a bit green.

Tips: 2 5 10 6

Suggested Bet: GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (2) to win.

Race 7 

SUGAR DELIGHT (7) burnt the candle at both ends last start but was far to strong for her rivals, that should bring her on even more and with that run under her belt, she appears very hard to beat, could be a good preparation upcoming. SOHO VESPER LIND (6) is returning and a capable type, she has the draw advantage but only concern is coming in first up. MINOR CATASTROPHE (4) has early speed and has been racing well, she won’t be too far away from them. LENORA JANE (5) has had a few chances and although never far away, doesn’t win out of turn. SWEET IVY (10) is a novelty chance, could be flying under the radar a touch.

Tips: 7 6 4 5

Suggested Bet: SUGAR DELIGHT (7) to win.

Race 8

ALWAYSBFRANK (2) was a total forgive last time out, nothing went right, today he has the early speed to lead and over the mile he will be dangerous and hard to run down. JACKIE DANIELS (1) is ideally drawn, she is a quality sit kick mare and will have the last crack at them. LORD TITANIUM (6) drops in grade on recent efforts and can do the work, expecting him to go well. REMARKABLE ROCK (7) just keeps winning but this draw, class and distance make it harder for her. RELLIM (9) will be running on strongly and likely positioned up closer than most. TANTABIDDI (8) and FLYIN DISCO (3) next best in terms of novelty players.

Suggested Bet: ALWAYSBFRANK/JACKIE DANIELS to Quinella.

Race 9

SKIPPIN CLASS (4) has been rather luckless in recent performances and has good early speed, if he could find his way to the top I think he is a solid each way chance, not a heap of speed underneath so I am expecting him to run well. SUNDANCER RAINBOW (1) likely takes some cover and is racing well, think she’ll be right there in the finish again. BARBADOS (7) can do the work in his races but just lacks that top end speed. PRIDDAH (6) is racing consistently and can push forward into a position early. SPIRITOFANANGEL (9) was solid in her last effort, she rarely runs a bad race. ALFREDI (10) has been consistent, and BETTOR HAVE FAITH (11) is right up these at her best.

Tips: 4 1 7 6

Suggested Bet: SKIPPIN CLASS (4) each way.

Race 10

LAST HARD COPY (12) has come back in top class form; this looks to be his race to lose and has been well placed by Aiden De Campo. PRINCE OF TRIBECA (4) can burn forward and potentially get to the top, he has been luckless since returning but will have options and can be placed. PINJARRA ROCKS (6) has an abundance of early speed but might take away from his sprint at the finish. BY ROYAL COMMAND (9) is better suited this grade in terms of place chance to novelty chance. BASINGHALL (7) has some ability but it’s a tough draw to overcome. FLOAT MY BOAT (8) has ability but is in grave fear of being shuffled back. INTO THE FUTURE (10) I prefer closer to the speed. WICKED HUSTLER (11) hit the line well last time out and should be getting home strongly. Few novelty chances at odds in this.
