Race 1

MA PETITE DAME (5) did a power of work last time out and was brave in defeat, steps up to the 2130m and looks to have the depth required to overcome the awkward draw, will go close. THE SEA SIREN (1) hasn’t had good draws to work with this time in, comes up with the ace here and expecting her to be cheeky in the lead. MAAS ATTACK (2) did things wrong in trials before winning the trial impressively, has a nice draw and looks to have good ability. HIGHVIEW ROZI (3) and ALTAS LAST (4) look novelty chances from their respective draws. Whilst COCOBOLO (9) has the depth to get into it from the tough draw but looks more a place chance today.

Suggested Bet: MA PETITE DAME (5) to win.

Race 2

IM CATEGORY FIVE (5) has been extremely impressive since returning, she has yet to break through, but this looks a perfect race for her and think she will get the job done here. SHES SUPER CHARGED (1) returns and has the nice draw, small query for her as she’s a speedy type who steps up to the middle distance, does look the likely leader early. CRUNCHNSIP (4) has ability and a decent draw and must be respected. LIVY ANN (6) was superb in defeat last time out after a sound return prior to that, she has the ability but a tricky draw. SHOO BOOZY (8) looks a smart type but comes into this first up from a wide draw. CONTESSA JULIE (3) is a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: IM CATEGORY FIVE (5) to win.

Race 3

WISHING BELLE (7) may have put in one of the biggest performances I have seen in my life for a 2-year-old filly, remarkable win at Bunbury and if she’s taken no harm from that, she should be winning this. SLAY QUEEN (8) has been impressive and keeps improving, good test but expecting her to close off strongly. TRIXIE DORA (4) continues to improve and looks a strong player to potentially work to the front and run a bold race. SOVEREIGN JEWEL (5) has plenty of talent and must be respected. LIANAKA (1) is a novelty chance by virtue of the draw.

Suggested Bet: WISHING BELLE (7) to win.

Race 4

Open race. GET THE BOOTH (5) won well last time out and she’s getting back to some better form, thought there was a chance she could find the top here and go close. BEE KIND (10) was a beaten favourite last time out and has shown promise but could be short enough. STAR LILLY (1) trialled up well but is also more of a sit kick type so options there from the draw. DIAMOND WORLD (12) racing consistently and shouldn’t be too far away. Novelty chances to some at longer odds who are racing well and should be included are FOLLOW MY STRIDE (3) and MANEA (11).

Suggested Bet: GET THE BOOTH (5) each way.

Race 5

LORD PUBLISHER (8) strikes a suitable race but a tricky draw, he has versatility and should perform well in this and can watch things unfold. LADY VIOLETTA (1) has returned soundly enough and has the nice draw, third up into the preparation and could see her run well. MY ULTIMATE KEVVIE (10) has lifted in recent runs and has the good draw again. CHIEF COPY (12) drops in grade and will be finishing off strongly. JOE WITH THE FLOW (5) is a winning chance if he could cross, awkward draw to work with. WATCH ME WAVE (2) and OURFIRSTIMPRESSION (11) are both novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: MY ULTIMATE KEVVIE (10) to place.

Race 6

SPORTING GRACE (1) has the good draw and steps up to the middle distance off the back of a win in sprint company last time out, if she can settle better, I would expect her to run a good race at each way basis. MAKE IT QUICK (10) trialled up well and has the perfect draw and could settle close enough. ROCKIN LE MONDE (5) is a consistent performer, returns here and must be respected. AMERICAN CRUISE (11) and SIDSTREPO (12) will be running home powerfully. EN PARIANT SUR (2) is racing consistently but the draw could work out to be awkward with potential to be shuffled back. CRY HAVOC (4) faces a tricky draw. ACUTO (6) is capable but faces the same problem as CRY HAVOC (4) and BURGHLEY SHARD (7) is consistent but is first up. UNDER THE ALTA (8) can improve.

Suggested Bet: SPORTING GRACE (1) each way.

Race 7

SOHO VESPER LIND (1) caught the eye on Friday night with a bold performance and the way she hit the line, looks to lead and be very hard to beat. LOUIE LEBEAU (6) is a consistent performer on return and will run well here off the back of a solid trial. THE BEACH MASTER (10) has the nice draw and looks a solid place chance. IM SPIDERMAN (3) would be very hard to beat if he could lead but think he will settle close enough and be a novelty chance. CAPTAIN CONFETTI (5) we are still learning about but can be included in novelties with LENORA JANE (4) and ARIONROCK (9).

Suggested Bet: SOHO VESPER LIND (1) to win.

Race 8

Open race here. SWAGGER MAN (5) could be the beneficiary of some competitive early racing and has been racing well, stands as an each way chance. SWEET IVY (1) was better last run and has got some speed, looks hard to beat if she is able to lead and same can be said for SWEET VIVIENNE (2) who has strung together some solid performances recently. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (4) has good early speed and can settle close enough. HAVEYOUMETTED (10) has the nice draw and represents each way value. SUGAR APPLE (12) will settle close enough and this is a drop in grade. LIL HAPPY FELLA (6) should be thrown into your quaddie’s, last few runs have been solid.

Suggested Bet: SWAGGER MAN (5) each way.

Race 9

ALFREDI (3) drops in grade and looks to have the speed to potentially lead, good front running type who looks suited. ROCKABILITY (11) will be running home well and is a capable type if the pace is suited. COHLIN (1) and SIR BELVEDERE (2) are both novelty chances with the latter with more upside. TUMBLIN DICE (6) had his chance last time out, if he was to lead he would win, I think they’ll try and cross here. ZIGGY VERMEER (12) will be running on, has been luckless.

Tips: 3 11 6 12

Suggested Bet: ROCKABILITY (11) to place.

Race 10

ICE COLD SAPPORO (6) looks a strong type and thought the first up run was encouraging and looks a strong chance to work to the lead and think he can serve it up to the likely favourite TROUBADOUR (9) who is undefeated and looks a nice type but also faces another challenge today. AMERICAN TYPHOON (2) last couple have been solid; she’s got the good early speed and can settle close and doesn’t look a winning chance but more of a place chance. WHEN IN VEGAS (8) is back to his own age group and won’t be far away. THE RIZZLER (3) is a novelty hope from the draw on return. PINJARRA ROCKS (7) will get back and run on most likely, his high speed is an asset.

Tips: 6 9 8 2

Suggested Bet: ICE COLD SAPPORO (6) to win.

Race 11

AUSSIE CAPTAIN (8) is a nice type who looks to return and can overcome the draw, should run a bold race and is versatile. THE FINAL OFFER (4) caught the eye first up and can hit the line strongly again and gives a good indication that the stablemate will run a bold race in IN RARE AIR (1) who has the draw and trial was solid. KING LOU (5) trialled well after doing things wrong, tricky draw to overcome. MAKIN DUST (3) also a novelty chance.
