Race 1

BLING IT UP (10) has a tricky draw to work with, should mean we get a better price about him and then it is all about relying on Aiden De Campo to get him into the clear and if the gaps come I think this horse has a decisive class edge over his rivals on what we have seen so far this prep. VALHALLA MISS (1) returns and has the good draw, has some early speed and may be looking to lead, she might need the run but still should run well. TARTAN ROBYN (2) would give them something to catch if he could get to the top, has come back well this time in. ROCKSTAR QUALITY (8) must overcome a very tough draw but is racing consistently. DAMAGE DONE (7) comes in fresh and should be respected from the stable.

Suggested Bet: BLING IT UP (10) to win.

Race 2

Open race. Willing to give BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (1) one more chance from the perfect draw, he was disappointing last time out but had to come wide, this time has got options from the draw and looks a decent each way play, price dependant. LIL HAPPY FELLA (6) is racing well and requires some luck but will be powering on strongly. MANHATTAN MOON (10) was a complete forgive last run, nice draw and may stay the rail on this occasion. ELWADDELL (4) is racing well, had a torrid run last time out but can bounce back here. MIKI WINDERMERE (7) can do work in his races and stick on well.

Suggested Bet: BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (1) each way.

Race 3

LINCOLN RIVER (4) is racing in top form and is versatile, looks hard to beat again as he can get into a forward position and settle close enough. KURIOUS BOY (1) won well last time out and gets the draw to lead and dictate, go well. MINOS (9) must overcome the tough draw but won well two starts ago and wasn’t disgraced last time out. TIGER ROYAL (7) was luckless last run and is capable. CODENAME MARCUS (6) will run on, and LOUIE LEBEAU (10) drawn to get a good run. CHAMPAGNE EVERYONE (2) is capable, major player if she could lead but more of a novelty chance with the more likely map of being shuffled back.

Suggested Bet: LINCOLN RIVER (4) to win.

Race 4

ROCKOKOKO (6) is very talented and looks suited to this grade, he is versatile and can be driven accordingly to many scenarios, should get the job done for mine. FLY TO THE FINISH (1) is racing well and rises in grade, has options from the draw and shouldn’t be too far away. THE BEACH MASTER (2) is going well and is a nice pickup for Corey Peterson, keep safe. BETTOR ARCADE (3) comes in fresh after being unplaced in the Nights of Thunder and from the draw should settle close enough to feature in the money. Tough draws for SWEET LUCIFER (8) and ARIONROCK (9) but both are racing well. CHACO EAGLE (10) is a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: ROCKOKOKO (6) to win.

Race 5

MAGNIFICENT STORM (3) is hard to go past on return and at one of his favourite distances, has brilliant early speed and looks to lead, there is a chance he doesn’t find the top but still should be too good for them in the breeze. HOTLY PURSUED (1) holds the key as he is a good front runner and has race fitness, loves the distance and should run well. BETTER ECLIPSE (10) is ideally drawn and will be hoping for a war, he has been performing well off bad draws recently and gets a good one to work with here. OTIS (2) won’t be too far away from the draw, has come back well and goes into the novelty bracket with MY WATCHLIST (8) and GOODFELLAZ (12).

Tips: 3 1 10 2

Suggested Bet: BETTER ECLIPSE (10) to place.

Race 6

SHES A TINY DANCER (6) has been flying with her performances being wonderful against stronger opposition, can be driven like the best horse in this grade and could potentially get to the top here and from there will be very hard to run down, looks her race. SHEER ROCK LADY (11) is racing in top form, can punch through hard and be on speed, looks the main danger. EASTON QUALITY (2) has good early speed and then has options and becomes a place chance with chances to THE SWINDLER (5) who has drawn awkwardly for her early speed, WALL STREET GIRL (7) and WORLD SECRET (9) both capable but draws hurt. LOCH TAY (10) needs luck from the draw.

Tips: 6 11 2 5

Suggested Bet: SHES A TINY DANCER (6) to win.

Race 7

ECLIPSE LINE (2) is hard to go past after the last effort, absorbed the pressure and was only grabbed late, major player if he can step to the top again. FAT LOUIE (10) was disappointing last time out but prior win was strong, moves to the stand and can overcome the handicap. DAWSON (8) brings Busselton form to town but is a proven metro performer and proven stand performer and must be respected. YANKEE LINCOLN (1), MIKIPELO (3), BEACH CAPTAIN (4) and SOUND WAVE (7) all novelty chances.

Tips: 2 10 8 3

Suggested Bet: ECLIPSE LINE (2) to win.

Race 8

SPUDMEISTER (4) didn’t have much luck last week and has got good early speed and is a chance to find the top, if he leads, I think he will be very hard to run down. YOUR GRACE (2) is fitter for first up effort and can lead early and has options, isn’t a horse who can absorb too much pressure. MISTER PICCOLO (6) is suited in this grade and can do some work and run well. GREVIS (5) has been racing stronger but is one dimensional and requires some luck. SMOKEYS SHADOW (7) is a chance from the wider gate with his speed. LORD PUBLISHER (10) and JINGLING JEWELS (11) will be running on.

Tips: 4 2 6 5

Suggested Bet: SPUDMEISTER (4) each way.

Race 9

MAJESTIC GA GA (5) has been in wonderful form for a fair period of time now and has good early speed, ran an admirable third in the Trotters cup behind Grumpee a fortnight ago, can return to the winner’s circle here. MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (3) looks the main danger with her early speed and was runner up in the Trotters cup with the handicap advantage. PATCHED (6) was a gutsy effort in that same race and will be running on, his last few have been very good. LUVAFLAIR (7) needs some tempo on but will be running on.

Tips: 5 3 6 7

Suggested Bet: MAJESTIC GA GA (5) to win.

Race 10

Open race to finish. MONTERIO (2) was narrowly beaten when tested early two starts ago, can work to the top here and be very hard to run down as there doesn’t appear to be as much pressure. BETTOR MOVE ALONG (8) is suited in this grade and anywhere near his best version will go close. THE RIGHTEOUS (4) will settle handy to them and can be dangerous. LEEROY ROX (5) is a capable type, won’t be far away. BLUE BLAZER (7) relies on some luck from the wide draw but has good closing speed.

Tips: 2 8 4 5

Suggested Bet: MONTERIO (2) to win.
