Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on December 13, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 7 Dozen Staples We know what we get here, and in this field, she will deliver it again. Most of these struggle off the arm and don’t run much time anyway so she will start her run up the back and hit the frame with a little luck. Race 8 No. 2 Horoscope Shea going well this girl. Will step fast as usual and just needs to navigate around the red early and she can sneak a few lengths up the back with clear air which should see her finish in the placings at least. Good record track and trip. Race 9 No. 5 Extreme Rip and No. 8 Kenny Keeping If the 5 can’t knock these over, then not sure where she would go to from there. This is as winnable as it gets and the draw is fine. The 8 would be a huge show off the inside but he steps well and could dart across here. Going super since the kennel change and is ready to score with early luck. Each way for him too. Race 10 No. 2 Shady Town and No. 5 Pumping Gas This race has two very different scenarios . The 2 could lead early with the 5 probing for a fence run and charging strongly late. They are both super hopes in this and the most likely bets. However, there is the other element in box 3 who is as enigmatic as you will ever see. There are two of him and that’s putting it bluntly. One version will miss the start and do nothing out the back at the first sign of trouble and not bother to put any effort at all in. The other will get a look at the arm early or into the back and he will drop the nitrous like you’ve never seen and put these to a sword so sharp it will cut them in half as he beats them like a drum and wins by 10. He will be short but without knowing how short, the safer way to play is the other two. Race 11 No. 1 Black Trinity Give her one more go after she couldn’t quite hold the arm last week. Boxed to get every chance to lead here and she will go much better when she is left alone solo in front. Must use the draw this time. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 3 Edsel Bale and No. 1 Iberia Bale The 3 was superb last week last week and this is much easier for him. Does get a little wide early but small field will suit. The 1 will take some catching if she holds up early. Had some 600s so will have good strength over this trip. Worth a save. Race 6 No. 1 Zinzan Chopper Huge run last time and boxed to go close now. Can be a little tardy early but winds up very strongly and like racing here. Definite top two show and can win if close up the back. Market Market
