Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on July 15, 2025July 15, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 Competitive start. ORAQUA covered ground last time and that form has held up. AD VITAM made an encouraging debut at Sale and handled the heavy ground well. ENCHANTED JENNI has been kept fresh but should have residual fitness and hit the line well over 1200m last start. ALPINE FOX and SMOTHER are other with claims. Selections: 10,1,9,2 Suggested Bet: Oraqua each way Race 2 EXIT was tested at a high level on debut and has jumped out in great style to kick off her second prep at a suitable trip. LOPE DE LARDO hit the line strongly to score second up and 1300m should pose no problem. SAVANNAH CHILL won well on the Lakeside circuit on debut and should be improved by the outing. LIFE AFTER LOVE should be at peak fitness and may be looking for this trip. Selections: 9,1,2,7 Suggested Bet: Exit to win Race 3 SUN SETTING was racing through the grade in good style prior to running ok in the worst ground behind a smart one last start. YES WE ARE broke the maiden in good fashion last time after two encouraging runs and can measure up. IT’S A YES covered ground last time and should be ready third up. DAPPER DARRI looked good in his first prep and has been jumping out ok. REGAL SECRET and DON’T RUSSIA are others that are in the mix in a deep race. Selections: 7,8,2,1 Suggested Bet: Sun Setting each way Race 4 HERBERT PARK loves getting her toe in the ground, she drops in grade and will be strong late coming back to 1000m. ALONG THE RIVER also drops back to 1000m and that looks suitable. RAVALLI has jumped out in great style since his last start victory. NASRAAWY is fit and consistent. Forgiving of RATTLE AND BANG last start, he likes it wet and is capable of improving. Selections: 4,2,1,10 Suggested Bet: Herbert Park each way Race 5 SIRUIS STATEMENT covered ground behind SILVER CLIFF last start and under the circumstances her run was full of merit. Silver Cliff is racing in great form and has obvious claims again. TEN DEEP ran second in that race, she might have more upside than most of these and will be improved by that first up run. JUSTDOIT won this race last year and will be suited stepping up to 1400m. KIRA will be close to her top third up and is close to her next victory. Selections: 1,8,7,3 Suggested Bet: Sirius Statement each way Race 6 EUGENIUS ran well second up behind a promising galloper and has the early speed to potentially offset an awkward draw. NEW SOVEREIGN has jumped out in great style. He has the wide barrier to overcome but too much upside to overlook. BOLTSAVER seemed to have his chance last start but handles wet ground and coming back to 1300m could suit. JUSTADEEL and VIENNA VIXEN have claims. Selections: 11,14,7,4 Suggested Bet: Eugenius each way Race 7 Plenty of chances here. JENNIVAMOOSE did a great job to score over this trip second up and should be further improved. ALMAIRAC improved nicely second up and handles soft ground well. BLUESTONE is racing well in similar races and must have a case. JAYKAYANN and MATHEW are among he other winning hopes. Selections: 9,5,6,11 Suggested Bet: Jennivamoose each way Race 8 SIR ATLAS caught the eye first up, he may need some luck from the draw but looks well placed dropping slightly in grade. MAKDANE is racing in great form and will make his own luck. JUJA KIBO should be close to his top third up after two encouraging runs. ALBANIAN I AM backed up his long odds run here with a solid run on the synthetic and should get every chance with Shinn aboard from a good draw. RUAKAKA RAIDER looks suited coming back from 2000m. Selections: 2,8,13,15 Suggested Bet: Sir Atlas each way Market Market
