Race 1

TROUBADOUR (4) creates interest in a debut start not only in the west, but in a race overall. The shaky-isles bred pacer has trialled up well in New Zealand with a 2.00-mile rate and the form line from that trial has been solid, looks hard to beat in his Australian debut. NO MESSING ABOUT (1) has been sound since debuting and the draw elevates her chances to move into the money. CAMEL PLUS (3) continues to improve, early speed is decent enough, can fill the placings if he could cross early. MAJESTIC REALE (5) rises in grade but won nicely last run with the race being run to suit. LUZIA (9) and FILLMYPOCKET (10) both face a rise in grade and tougher draws. REPOSSESSION (8) will be running on.

Suggested Bet: TROUBADOUR (4) to win.

Race 2

Open race. CAREMLA DOMENICA (1) has the draw and has options, she hasn’t really been poor in her races but hasn’t been impressive either, just sort of been around but this could see an improvement. CIAO BABE (3) looks suited in this grade and can run a bold race. VELVET SHADOW (6) probably has the best form in the race, but has a tricky draw to work with, will be getting home well. PACIFIC EAGLE (8) needs to lift on recent form but is capable and Kylah Madden is an aggressive junior driver which could counter act his laid-back attitude. FIREBALL FRIDAY (7) has a nice trailing draw and was solid enough on return. ZIGGY VERMEER (9) rises in grade but will run on. AMERICAN DUTCHESS (5) trialled ok ahead of her return.

Tips: 3 6 8 1

Suggested Bet: CIAO BABE (3) each way.

Race 3

EILEENMAY (7) is beautifully drawn and looks set to get the run of the race, her performances since coming back from a freshen up have been solid and this looks ideal for Eileen. JOLTED CHARM (1) has the speed to lead, and her last couple have been better but still below her best, can figure. CHERRY ON THE CAKE (3) has good early speed but didn’t have much luck last time out, think she can play a part with even luck, would say she’d win if she could lead. ZUEDE (2) we know he won’t be contesting the lead but will be running on strongly. MISS KNOWALL (8) has options from the back row and likely to get home strongly with even luck.

Tips: 7 1 3 8

Suggested Bet: EILEENMAY (7) to win.

Race 4

DIAMOND WORLD (5) looks well placed, confident she would win this race if she can find the top which looks likely but still confident, she could breeze and win, she’s a keen going type and didn’t think the runner’s underneath would want to get too involved. KINSAABI (9) caught the eye last time out and if they do go too hard, expect him to be getting home strongly. BONSTAR (1) is a place chance and can hold SHEHADI (2) early and possibly hold DISPATCHER (3) who is quick but rises in grade and doesn’t seem to be able to do it at both ends these days. PECUNIOUS (6) has shown promise and will run well in this on return. MANEA (7) will be running on well but is in the hands of BONSTAR (1) early and MYDADTHETERROR (8) is suited to this grade but comes in first up and may need the run.

Tips: 5 9 6 7

Suggested Bet: DIAMOND WORLD (5) to win.

Race 5

YA BETTOR FOLLOWME (1) has the draw to show his speed and lead, will be benefitted from the freshen up run from the breeze and expecting a sharp improvement from him here. FAT LOUIE (8) has bumped into some talented types since returning and looks set to run a big race here. LADY CAMEL (3) continues to improve but this will be harder without being able to lead. DRIVE LINE (7) is a place hope by virtue of the good draw. CAPTAIN CONFETTI (2) was sound in his WA debut and drawn in close. IM LORD LOGAN (6) is capable but hasn’t recaptured his best yet and the draw doesn’t scream lucky for connections.

Tips: 1 8 3 7

Suggested Bet: YA BETTOR FOLLOWME (1) to win.

Race 6

FOLLOW MY STRIDE (1) is fitter for the first up effort and has decent early speed, looks likely to take options into account and expect her to run well here. THIS TIME JACKO (8) has got the winning form but could come up a ridiculously short quote in this. WATCH ME WAVE (7) has drawn to be prominent, yet to get a real gauge on her this time in. JUST ALL STYLE (2) is capable and the draw suggests she won’t be too far away. GOOD TIMES AHEAD (5) was sound in his return run and looks set to run a bold race but may have to do some work again.

Tips: 1 8 5 7

Suggested Bet: FOLLOW MY STRIDE (1) each way.

Race 7

LAZI DAIS (5) has come back in tremendous order and looks set to go on his winning way again, he is going to win plenty more this time in. INTO THE FUTURE (4) has good early speed and can burn across and lead early and becomes the logical top 2 selection. BY ROYAL COMMAND (1) will run a better race from the improved draw and OFFICIAL ROCK (3) was used last time out and it didn’t seem to suit her, expect her to run on well. MAJOR DISCO (7) will watch things unfold early and then looks likely to work to the breeze or be close enough and he will be dangerous late in running but looks hard to give the top 2 a head start. LADIESHAVTIME (6) is still learning the caper and will be short enough given the colours she carries.
