Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 25, 2024April 25, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 3 Mind Reader Gets a great map here with Avery wide running dog immediately outside him. Adept at both trips 400 and 488 and he can show very good speed off a clean getaway. Gets his chance now. Race 6 No. 8 Cut Model, No. 2 Bad Influence and No. 5 Expediential A rare tri-play here. I think the market will allow us to get into all three if these dogs. The 8 to spear out and lead and be awfully hard to stop if she crosses. The 2 to get the good fence run here and strong late as will the 5 be who will be descending out wide once he balances up. Expecting a forward shows from all three of them. Race 8 No. 7 Litchfield and No. 2 No Trace The 7 is better suited here back over the 400. She can show dash out wide and she sticks on well when she’s close turning. The 2 is one of the big improvers in WA in recent times and his run was excellent last time. Would prefer him drawn off a bit but just needs room here and he’s a threat on the EW. Race 10 No. 2 Lukes Coal Monster grade dropper and only has to step remotely well to put himself near the an in this and he won’t be stopped from there. Has class on this field and is clearly the best dog in the race. Ready to bounce back. Race 12 No. 6 All About Rock and No. 1 Clifton Iyla The 6 will look to make his run up the back and his 27.2 effort will drop on these to put them away if he’s close at the top. Just needs a gap and trouble free run. The 1 might go well here. She will step quick and the drop off a little only to work home well again. Box and a few steady opponents gives her a chance. EW at odds.
