Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 22, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 1 Stay Amused and No. 7 Trisha Keeping The 1 has only ever had the red once in 47 starts. She will go a lot better than most think here. Distance ideal and can stun. So can the 7 who has found her best since the kennel change. Wide draw good and has speed. Both can figure here. Race 2 No. 1 Aussie Primrose The box will give her a shot here and she isn’t as bad as her form looks. Puts in good efforts off bad draws and will get into this quickly and stick on at odds. EW at least. Race 3 No. 8 My Anarchy Boy and No. 1 Sunset Hornet First heat of the Good Friday cup. The 8 won’t let this fav in 1 have a walk over here. He’s a very good dog at this circuit and the wide box is no problem at all. Will charge into this quickly and keep going. The 1 of course the dog to beat but he will need to do everything right. He has been and the box will see him awfully hard to stop. They should dominate. Race 4 No. 2 Alden Monelli and No. 6 Sunset Callisto The 2 is vastly under rated and gets an all time map here. Can settle up behind the inside speed and he runs home as hard as anything in this. Monster EW play. The 6 has disappointed a little lately but he gets one more chance to muster up and show his best. Can run time when he’s close and well drawn. Race 5 No. 4 Sunset Tyson and No. 5 Who Told Tuff The 4 only has to get some room early and he will drop these like a 10 ton anvil. Blistering turn of foot and track looks to suit perfectly. Class runner. The 5 will surprise here and while he wasn’t good last time, he was the start prior and has had a freshen. Will be a big price and can get into the placings. Race 6 No. 8 Sunset Ali and No. 1 Stanga Fire The 8 is very promising and is boxed to charge up out wide and lead all the way here. Only beaten once in 7 starts. Looks his to dominate. The 1 will find a bit on the fence and he runs home well. Will look to get into it late and hit the frame for a top two save. Race 7 No. 4 Sunset Frazier and No. 8 Lite Monelli What an exciting heat coming up. The Mach 10 speed machine that is in box 4 and coming out of the Perth Cup final, looks perfectly placed over this trip. Goes like a missile early and middle sections and if he gets the arm, and he should, the TR is under threat. The 8 will go well and while she needs an error from the fav, she can run a bit of time herself. Worth a little EW spec save. Fav wins though with any luck at all. Race 8 No. 1 Butter Me Up and No. 4 Oliver Gundi The 1 got a well deserved victory last week. Boxed to repeat and will look to lead all the way here. The 4 is consistent and while he doesn’t run much time, neither do the rest and he sticks on well. Can hit the frame here. Race 9 No. 3 Apache Havoc and No. 4 Red Ned Gundi The 3 is promising and he goes fast at box rise. Will find a bit more on his first up look last week and be hard to catch if he gets the arm. The 4 is also getting better and can surprise here. Will get a track into it off the 3 and keep coming to the line. Both strong hopes in this. Race 10 No. 5 Impress Rocks and No. 3 Jumpin Jules The 5 was something beaten last week when about to land right where he needed to be to win. Pushed off by an erratic dog at the first turn. Will atone here with any luck and he’s going better than it looks. The 3 is also ready to win. Gets up there early and sticks on strongly. Might be looking for longer but still capable of going well in this. Race 11 No. 6 Trevor’s Gift and No. 4 Stella Gundi The 6 was very good winning here earlier in the week. If she repeats that effort she will be hard to stop. Can lose focus from time to time but looks to be going well right now. The 4 can lead or come from back. She has a good record here against decent opposition and will take runs all the way to the line here. Don’t dismiss her. Market Market
