Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 21, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 1 Bad Desire and No. 6 Bella Sunset The 1 can find his best here off a good draw. Better than his form shows and only has to use the box to his advantage. The 6 goes well here and she will be probing for runs into the back and she has a good middle and last fraction. Both solid here. Race 5 No. 2 Jump Into Action and No. 1 Alaska’s Girl The 2 will be a price and he ran out of skin behind Burning Passion last week. Better known as a stayer, he showed he has some sprint in the legs and the step up is only a plus. Can surprise. The 1 should win with any luck. Made good ground first up here behind Incredible Pinto and moves to the coveted inside marble. Race 6 No. 6 Archipelago Lad and No. 8 Easy Kuna They ran 1,2 last week and can repeat the dose here. 6 begins quickly and goes fast while the 8 is very promising and musters up at speed. They will do that again and one of them should win. Keeping an eye on the price of the 2 All Cashed Up. If she gets to well into double figures she will be worth a small save as well. 6 and 8 main plays though. Race 7 No. 8 Vegas Rules Thought he was unlucky not to burst through and lead last week. Begins well and goes fast and he can use the box to stay out and take advantage of the space. We just don’t want him trying to chop down too quickly before the first turn. Good show if he hops out quickly again. Race 11 No. 8 Rusty Boom Gate Similar scenario here. Loves this track and trip and begins with gusto most starts. Consistent and always in the firing line. He and the 7 will charge over and the 8 has a little more late strength. SANDOWN PARK Race 1 No. 2 Ridge and No. 7 Snapper Smith The 2 moves to a gun draw and he was superb last start in defeat. Made a lot of ground off a tough run and will settle closer here. Looks a huge play and best bet. The 7 was back to her best last week with a booming run home win. She has raced some tough opposition lately and she is well boxed here to continue and gets a small save at the odds. The 2 is the main go however. Race 2 No. 4 Sir Chappy and No. 2 Ariarne Bale The 4 is monster odds here and can get a good map to settle closer than usual. Goes through the gears mid race and launches home. Field is handy but he’s far from hopeless. Place heavy play. The 2 is very talented and she is also drawn to get the run at the first turn. Comes out of the Geelong Cup heats which were much stronger than this. Race 4 No. 3 Whatever I Say and No. 4 Zivon Bale The 3, while known for over longer trips, has an impeccable record here over this track and trip. 4 wins from 6 starts here. She’s versatile and has the ability to step fast. Giving the 4 one more chance here. Disappointed in a heat of the Geelong Cup but is much better than that. Both EW players. Race 5 No. 2 Galloping Speed and No. 6 Orca The 2 again ran the race of his life for us last week at gigantic odds. Missed by a neck and was just super. This is harder but he doesn’t know how to run a bad race and will chase whatever he has to until the end. Place heavy again but he must run top 2 with NTD. The 6 beat him last week and while he has got some tricks and he’s enigmatic, he’s very hard to get past when he leads. Another more for the place behind this fav but both can cause the boil over with a little luck if the fav finds trouble. Race 6 No. 4 Mystify Kick Benefited from a wayward dog last week late in the race to dive through and win. Was still going home better than them but he may not have won without it as he was running out of ground. Gets a better draw here and just needs to get interested earlier. Race 7 No. 6 Hill Top Jack and No. 8 Drako Bale The 6 had zero luck last week and he can get back on to the podium here. Great record track and trip and strong. Will look ominous with first turn luck. The 8 is a stayer resuming from a let up but he loves the wide box and will be launching late here. Place heavy. Race 8 No. 4 Hadouken and No. 6 Luna Cruz Tricky race. The 4 is the class runner here and was very good at Geelong. Ran on well surprisingly for a dog who likes the arm quickly. Can go close here. The 6 is under rated and while she will need to step her best here, she won’t be a $26 shot if she got around the first turn and into a prominent spot. Race 11 No. 5 Yalena Bale One at odds to take us out at Sandown Park. Another one out of the Geelong Cup heats, she’s been placed 2 from 3 here and her run was good in the heat of the cup. Has a 29.43 here and that was in defeat which makes it even better. If she produces that, she’s right in this. ANGLE PARK Race 9 No. 5 Midnight Tracker and No. 7 Contour The fav is good and has a stack of talent but yet to win over 500 while placed 4 times. The 5 and 7 are both strong, knocking on the door and can figure here. The 5 will look for the fence early and if his momentum isn’t stopped, he will go close. The 7 continues to be dealt horror draws yet continues to handle them well. Will again be looking for runs and has a good last fraction. Backing both EW. Race 10 No. 8 Weblec Mist Really, her best just wins this. It will be a simple matter of offsetting the box on this corner start. Speed in 1,2,4, she just needs to slot in behind and her gear change will take effect up the back. Hard to hold out with an uninterrupted run home. Race 11 No. 2 Danyo’s Mercy and No. 8 Show Me Bucks The 2 was as stiff as a month old slice of bread last week. Spat out of it early, made good ground home and kept attacking the line. Can atone here off the ideal draw. The 8 can do something here. He doesn’t run much time but this race wont need the clock set alight to score the prize. Main go 2 and save 8. Market Market
