Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 10, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 3 Dirty Harry He’s getting closer to a win and did enough last week to suggest this could be his race. Consistent around this track and trip, he has plenty of ability and will be looking to step quickly and track up the 2 which will make him very hard to stop from there. Race 5 No. 1 Prime Candy She couldn’t get over last week off the 8 but there will be no excuses not to pounce on the arm here. Moderate beginner in 2 gives her every hope to go all the way here and an early lead into the back should see her break 22. Race 8 No. 8 Charos Reward and No. 7 Smooth Move Speed aplenty here with 8 and 7 both looking for early positions into the back. The 8 rarely misses the kick and she will come out running again and does her best work on the arm. The 7 is versatile with his distances and clearly the fastest dog in the race. If he can also step his best, he will be forward into the back and then becomes very hard to hold out. Race 10 No. 5 Pad Up Boone A couple on his outside will quickly clear him giving him that all important chance to balance up and make his run up the back. He’s not going as bad as his form looks and has raced better dogs than this. Will be a silly price and look for him to charge into this with any luck. If he opens up at double figures, he will be the best play on the card. MOUNT GAMBIER Race 3 No. 1 Locked A simple matter of him getting the trip is all that needs to be known here. Will accelerate quickly and lead and put some distance between himself and the chasers. Then it’s weather he has enough in the tank to stay the 730m trip. Indications are he should have no problems with his solid 600m run homes. Race 4 No. 4 Daylen Bale and No. 6 Strike Eagle This fav in 8 is good but he doesn’t like early company and he might get that here off this corner start. The 4 is very good and has run some great races in Melbourne already. Can bring that here and is very strong. The 6 is enigmatic but when he turns up, he can unleash very good fractions and this could suit him here. Backing both. Race 8 No. 5 Whole Way and No. 7 Quinlan Bale The 2022 Mt Gambier Cup. Excellent edition and several chances. The 7 has a blistering turn of foot off the mat and if he steps cleanly, can muster down the outside and cross. Improves on his heat and hard to beat. The 5 caused a major boil over in his heat at $61 but was it really a shock running 29.72 from last. He runs time around this track and while he is better known over longer, he will be on the fence taking every run afforded to him. Big smokie’s hope at huge odds again. BROKEN HILL Race 7 No. 8 Manila Dusk and No. 7 Hojilla Bale The Cup looks a great race and we will be looking out wide here. The 8 led all the way in his heat but had no clue where he was and can go much, much faster. Will find plenty if he steps again and hard to catch. The 7 will be astronomical odds but don’t be surprised if she runs into the placings. She keeps coming to the line and ran a ripper behind the 8 in the heat. Will improve a lot here and will take advantage of any dogs stopping or finding trouble. MURRAY BRIDGE Race 6 No. 4 Danyo’s Clint and No. 6 He’s On Fire The 4 goes better than most think. Ultra-consistent and hits the podium here more often than not. Draw is not bad and will get his chance to be up there early. He will however, he chasing the 6, who is simply the best beginner in Australia. Only misses the start once every blue moon but 95% of the time, he is explosive when the lids lift and puts 5L on them before they know what’s happened. Will be hard to run down. Race 8 No. 5 Crush Your Enemy and No. 1 Two Hands George The kennel mates will go well here. The 5 gets wide but keeps coming and runs time surprisingly for a dog who is rarely on the rail. Look for him to charge into this early and be hard to beat. The 1 is well boxed and gives his all every start. Can go fast or come from back and hits the line over this trip with a good last section. Any luck and he’s in this. Both great hopes here. Market Market
