Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 2, 2022April 2, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 2 Zippy Volkswagon and No. 7 Bionic Polly In terms of last chances, these two are pushing the limit and must produce here. The 2 simply has to use the box and show some of his old form to figure. Worked home ok in a rough race last week and can figure. The 7 just keeps finding trouble but is more than capable of beating these. Checked heavily into the kennel mate mid-week when running 4th and will be in the finish with a clear run. Race 4 No. 1 Sunset Whistler The drop back from 600m is key here as is the draw. He will use the box and only has to land close at the first turn to be a major force. Can beat this fav if the map pans out how we think. In great form and ready to hit top 2 at the very least. Race 6 No. 4 Zipping Ontario A staying gem this bloke. Won over this trip 2 starts ago only to drop back in distance last start to hand a good field a beating. Back up to this journey will see him land handy and be too strong with even luck. Race 9 No. 3 Roxy Vodka She is capable and a lot of that relies on her getting the start right. If she steps cleanly, she can use the box to drive up the fence and we have seen her reel off a 21.6 before. Good EW hope here. Race 11 No. 2 Corporal Kuna Dropping right back here from the staying trip and that won’t bother him one bit. Is versatile and can land closer than most think here and up the back is where he will get into his work. Will smash the line and can absolutely hit a top 2 collect here. THE MEADOWS Race 2 No. 2 Jigglypuff Looking for a good step here to show her early toe. When she lands close, she is hard to get past and capable of running a bold race on the speed. Placed 5 from 7 this box. Looks ready. Race 3 No. 3 Daylen Bale Very capable type who is way over the odds here. Ran down Lucy’s Villa 3 back over the middle trip at Sandown and has won here in low 30. Strong type from an upcoming kennel that presents their dogs well. Looks an EW play here with any luck at all. Race 7 No. 6 Orson Emmy She is underrated and this is the sort of race she will run into. Tested over the 700, the step back will see her relish this trip and she will start her change of gears up the back. A few of these trying their hand at 600m for the first time so she has them covered on exposed form. Great EW play. Race 10 No. 8 Ripplebrook Glen Surely he doesn’t miss a place here. Has raced superior opposition and has one of the longest sustained run homes around. Just keeps coming from a long way out and while he is yet to win here from several goes, he has been placed behind dogs who would walk this in. Big go here to hit the podium. WENTWORTH PARK We take a look at races 3-8 which are the 4 Easter Egg semis as well as 2 heats of the Association Cup for the stayers with tips and suggested bets. Race 3 The boom NSW stayer Zipping Kansas lines up a hot favourite here. He should have little trouble justifying the short quote. Mepunga Ruby, Stanley Road and Days of Thunder the chances to qualify. Suggested Bet: Trifecta – 6-2,4,7-2,4,7 Race 4 A more open heat of the Association Cup. The 2 Nimble Lulu can run a race at odds and make her way through to the final. 6 Super Estrella, 8 Hank the Hustler and 4 Gypsy Wyong should all advance. Suggested Bet: No. 2 Nimble Lulu each way Race 5 Semi 1 of the Egg and the 5 Zippy Tesla was outstanding last week and looks a super show here. Mapped to get in behind the speed and will unleash those lethal gears he has up the back. The 3 Idolize is flying and loves it here. Other chances to 1 Zara’s Ivan and 4 Lala Kiwi. Suggested Bet: No. 5 Zippy Tesla each way Race 6 Semi 2 and a couple here at odds who will go enormous. None more so than 6 Daph’s Ascend. Phenomenal run in her heat when almost hitting the outside fence and making up ridiculous ground to qualify. Usually steps with pace and a massive show here if she does at big odds. The 5 Weblec Jet is another at a silly quote and unlucky in his heat. The 1 Handsome Rhino is a flying machine and while he wants to get wide, can handle an inside box. Suggested bet: No. 6 Daph’s Ascend EW bird Save on both 5 Weblec Jet and 1 Handsome Rhino both at EW odds. Race 7 Semi 3 and looking for the 6 Equalizer to extend his winning run after a super heat win last start. Gets back but has a powerful middle and last split and will dive to the fence early to start his run. Just needs first turn luck. 1 Fantastic Raven, 2 Wow and 4 Chase me Honey the other chances. Suggested bet: No. 6 Equalizer EW all day Race 8 Last chance to qualify and the 2 She’s a Pearl looks very hard to beat. Does have some fair beginners either side of her if there was to be hitch but she’s been nailing the jump. 3 Ties That Bind, 5 Indy Matilda and 8 Coast Model chances to advance. Suggested Bet: None Market Market
