Race 1: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL 3YO FILLIES MS PACE

OUR ANGEL OF HARLEM (10) was strongly fancied when she faced the breeze first up and looked the winner before tiring to finish 3rd to Bettor B Abeliever. She will be fitter for that outing and looks hard to beat if she has any luck from her awkward draw. LIBERTY ROSE (5) impressed at her first run in WA with a strong win after facing the breeze and is the obvious danger. INFINITE SYMBOL (1) is always competitive when she draws favourably and should be thereabouts. DETROIT LILY (7) is drawn poorly but is the next best.

Race 2: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MARES MS PACE

GOTTA GO GABBANA (6) won three on end before being been far from disgraced when 2nd and 4th after facing the breeze in stronger company. She isn’t as well suited over the sprint trip but is still the one to beat. COVERED N DIAMONDS (1) hasn’t managed a place at her four starts this campaign but should improve from the pole. BETTOR BOA (8) is back in form and will be running on strongly. NOTHINBUTADREAM (10) is drawn to get a soft run in transit and shouldn’t be far away.

Race 3: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MS PACE

ZENNART (6) has won four of his six starts since resuming from a spell and scored impressively after facing the breeze last week. He is drawn inside his main rivals and that could prove to be crucial. RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN (12) faced the breeze when 3rd to Chicago Bull last week and is capable of overcoming the backline barrier. VAMPIRO (7) beat ZENNART (6) and RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN two starts back but isn’t as well drawn tonight. WHENMECHIEF (2) has solid SA form and is well drawn for his WA debut.

Race 4: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MS PACE

FROSTYFLYER (2) has been placed at his last three starts and is close to breaking back into the winners’ circle. He chased home Red October in two of those placings and will appreciate the easier class tonight. MISTER ARDEE (5) has mainly been racing at outer country tracks but his form is good enough to win an event of this nature. REAL ZEAL (12) wasn’t suited in the breeze last start and should be finishing strongly from this draw. TRUSTYTREV (8) was a good winner first up but goes up in class and is drawn poorly.

Race 5: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL WESTERN GATEWAY MS PACE

LADY DE LA RENTA (1) faced the breeze and beat BECHERS BROOK (4) on it’s merits four starts back and has since brought up consecutive victories against her own sex. She has the pole tonight and will be hard to run down if she can hold the top. BECHERS BROOK (4) was ultra-impressive in winning the Battle Of Bunbury before not getting into the race last week but can bounce back from this draw. GOLDEN STATE (11) was a solid all the way winner last week but has a tougher draw. BENHOPE RULZ (10) has a good NZ record and must be respected.

Suggested Bet: LADY DE LA RENTA (1) to win.

Race 6: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MS PACE

MACHIATTO (2) led throughout at his WA debut to win in solid time but has finished at the rear at his three subsequent starts when he couldn’t lead. He is drawn to find the top and should prove hard to catch over the sprint trip. OHOKA DARCY (4) is racing consistently in stronger company and will appreciate this draw. CAMPORA (10) was only 15m from Chicago Bull at his first run back from a spell and will be fitter. BLISSNTHEBLACK (1) won in 1.55.8 fours starts back and must be considered from the pole.

Suggested Bet: MACHIATTO (2) to win.

Race 7: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL THE CLARKE QUAL HEAT 1 MS PACE

WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (1) was racing very well before a spell, with placings in stronger company than he meets tonight. He hasn’t trialled for his return but will be extremely hard to beat if anywhere near his best. CARTER MICHEAL (9) was impressive in winning four starts before a spell before doing things wrong in the Bridgetown Cup and looks the main danger despite the draw. ALFS ODYSSEY (10) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be in the money. JUST A HORSE (3) will find this harder than his last start all the way victory.

Race 8: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL HANDICAP SS PACE

TUAS DELIGHT (2) only had two starts last preparation, finishing 2nd in both in strong company. He resumes from his break without a spell but has an advantage at the handicaps over his main rivals and will be hard to beat if he steps cleanly. RISK (11) is the best horse in the event and will strip fitter after his first up assignment when he galloped away. THREE BLIND MICE (12) has been sound at his two runs back and can improve tonight. TACTILE SENSATION (9) goes up a long way in class but is in career best form.

Tips: 2 11 12 9

Suggested Bet: TUAS DELIGHT (2) to win.

Race 9: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MS PACE

RED OCTOBER (3) has won four on end, including impressive victories in 1.55.3 and 1.56.3 at his last two starts. He is well drawn and should bring up his fifth win on the trot. HEEZ MANLY (10) is racing almost as well as his stablemate but has an awkward draw to overcome. MIGHTY MR SHARKEY (9) is the other class runner in this field but the widest draw makes it very tough. THREE KINGS (1) is perfectly drawn to be a good place chance.

Tips: 3 10 9 1

Suggested Bet: RED OCTOBER (3) to win.

Race 10: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MS PACE

CEST LHEURE (1) is racing well without winning but gets his chance tonight. The concern is that he has been crossed from this barrier twice recently but he will be hard to catch if he can hold up at the start. ARTHUR LOWE (5) couldn’t get into the race last week but must be considered on his excellent 2nd to Rocknroll Lincoln. BRAVO TEX (6) ran a brave 2nd at Narrogin last start after facing the breeze and can overcome his awkward draw. MIGHTYFLYING DEAL (11) raced very consistently last campaign and has trialled nicely.
