Gator’s Buy & Sell: Week 7 Posted on March 26, 2019March 28, 2019 | Posted by David Gately BUY CLASSIQUE LEGEND Did a power of work in the Listed Darby Munro and battled on gamely. He was wide throughout and only went down narrowly. It was a big run. Don’t sack! CHAPADA I gave him a good hope against The Autumn Sun in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas and you can argue he may well have won if not for being shuffled back at such a vital stage. He picked-up and hit the line strongly. He’s right on track for the Group 1 Australian Derby on April 6. BALLER I reckon he was in the wrong race on Saturday (he contested the Group 1 The Galaxy), but he stuck on very well after racing close to a strong speed. It’s time to drop him back in grade and up in trip. SELL SHE KNOWS She did have a slow recovery rate on Saturday after failing in the Group 3 Birthday card Stakes, but she’s just not going as well as she can. ETYMOLOGY Looked like an ‘end of prep’ run to me in Group 3 Manion Cup. Might be time for a spell. SMART AS YOU THINK Not a bad run in the Group 3 Epona Stakes, but not a good one, either. Just doesn’t win! Feature Races Feature Races
