Gator’s Buy & Sell: Week 3 Posted on February 26, 2019March 5, 2019 | Posted by David Gately BUY Ringerdingding He stayed at 1400m and was up against Group 1 / WFA class on Saturday; the trip was too sharp, but he zoomed late and ran a very good 10th! His final 200m of 11.26s was among the day’s fastest! He’s likely to back up in this Saturday’s G1 Australian Guineas, where he should be competitive. Eduardo A huge effort working wide on very fast speed in the Oakleigh Plate at just his sixth career start. Not surprisingly, the run-on horses dominated, but he was still there at the end in what was the fastest Oakleigh Plate of all-time. He’s a key player in the G1 Newmarket Handicap on March 9. Baller I was really impressed by the way he chased / won fresh at Rosehill, and the race rated highly – they ran over 10L above average / benchmark. Interesting to note the first three home had a margin on the rest of them. He’s being aimed at the G1 The Galaxy on March 23. SELL I Am A Star She had her chance on Saturday, and, at her best, she would have left them for dead. Her best recent results are when everything has gone perfectly for her. Redkirk Warrior Admittedly, he did find some strife on Saturday in the Futurity, but he didn’t savage the line. Perhaps his best is behind him. Charge You can ill-afford to do things wrong at G1 level, so he is always going to be up against it. I’m happy to risk him at the elite level for the time being. Feature Races Feature Races
