Doomben Thoroughbreds Preview – 27 February Posted on February 26, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Tips RACE 3 No.2 The Storeman Tony Gollan trained sprinter who although hard to catch just looks to have found a suitable race tomorrow. The drop back from 1200m to 1050m is ideal, he meets inferior class and after the claim will carry no more weight. He’ll settle in the top four from the good gate which is where the winners generally come from over these short trips here at Doomben. Good each-way value. RACE 4 No.1 Someday Looking for a Gollan stable race to race double here with this quality sprinter who will be having his third run back from a break tomorrow. No luck at all here last time out, although he probably wouldn’t have won he certainly would have finished closer than the official 1.2 length margin. If he can park close enough in the run lookout in the straight! RACE 8 No.3 Dream Finnish Going for one at value here who I hope lives up to her name being the last race of the day! Consistent filly who wasn’t the best away here a couple of weeks back in Class 6 company before finding the line solidly late to be beaten just over 2 lengths. She steps up to a mile tomorrow which looks very suitable. Each-way. Best Bet Race 4 No.1 Someday Best Value Race 3 No.2 The Storeman Quaddie 50% 3 1, 6, 9, 10, 16 3, 4, 5, 11, 12 1, 2, 9 Bet Now
