Chris’ Doomben Best Bets Posted on November 4, 2016November 7, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 4 No. 2 Bidii Babe Promising mare from the Robert Heathcote who has won 4 of her past 5 starts. Strong finishing Eagle Farm winner last start over 1200m she does go to 1350m for the first time however I can’t see that being a problem. There’s a long run to the first turn which should allow Larry Cassidy to slot in or at least gain some cover from his wide draw. With an ounce of luck looks the best of the day. SuperPick - Race 4 No. 2 Bidii Babe - Profit Plus – 25% (Win) RACE 5 No. 2 Brotherly Secret Another Heathcote trained runner who draws a good gate and should improve sharply off the last start effort at Eagle Farm when he went all the way back from a bad draw tracking a wide course throughout, liked the way he stuck to his task in the straight to be beaten just over 3 lengths. Expecting him a lot closer in the run tomorrow with Damian Browne on top and very hard to get past. Looks great each-way value at double figure odds. RACE 6 No. 3 Denarius Gold Coast trained galloper from the Toby Edmonds stable who holds a very consistent record this campaign. Scored a tough win in an open handicap here over tomorrow’s 1400m trip beating Punta Norte who turned the tables last time out in a blanket finish also here over the same distance. Meets that runner better at the weights tomorrow and draws a good gate suggesting an economical run is very likely.
