Chris’ Rosehill Best Bets Posted on November 17, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 2 No.4 Savvan Should be primed tomorrow at her third run back from a spell. Drew wide and ran on well first up before having a month between runs into her last start close up 3rd at Randwick on Melbourne Cup Day in a tight finish. She’ll strip fitter for the run and really appreciate the step up to 1400m tomorrow as her two wins to date have been at 1550 and 1600m. RACE 3 No.2 Carzoff Chris Waller trained stayer who was well fancied at Doomben first up over 1350m however missed the start rushing home late to beat all bar the winner who had pinched a winning break. Given 3 weeks off and quickly up to 1800m he did a terrific job to grind out a win here on Melbourne Cup Day. Fitter this time around he’ll lap up the 2000m trip and prove very hard to beat once again. RACE 6 No.6 Interlocuter Absolutely flying this one from the Godolphin yard who should be unbeaten this campaign if not for losing on protest first up, a decision which surprised most! He’s certainly made up for it his next couple of starts winning both in strong fashion with the formlines standing up well. Just wins again and if the track becomes soft that will not be an issue.
