Like the fact the stable immediately tipped this one out after the win suggesting they feel he’s up to stronger assignments. He certainly enhanced that opinion winning a recent trial. Race 5 No.8 Fiesta There’s a strong groundswell of support suggesting this filly can return a winner tomorrow and I’m not surprised as she appears to have plenty in her favour. She’s been going great guns at the trials, handles all types of going, has won 2 of 3 fresh starts to date and comes up with a decent draw. The money so far suggests she’ll go close and I can’t see any reason to disagree. Race 9 No.5 Sondelon The Waterhouse/Bott combination team up with jockey Tim Clark in the closer where they should go very close to landing the money with this lightly raced consistent galloper. Liked his run first up when leading and only being beaten a small margin and without doubt he’ll strip a lot fitter tomorrow and appreciate the step up to a mile which is a distance he’s won over previously.
