RACE 4 No.2 Cochrane

New addition to the Tony Gollan stable who looks very hard to beat tomorrow. Formerly with Team Snowden he placed on debut up here before finishing down the track at his latest outing. Don’t take any notice of his recent unplaced Doomben trial as he sat 3 deep without cover and was subsequently given an easy time down the straight. Also worth mentioning he’s a full bro to Miami Fleiss!

RACE 8 No.2 Ligulate

Could not be going any better this one having scored strong wins his past two starts Doomben and Eagle Farm. Jockey Andrew Mallyon holds the key to this horse they call the ‘tow truck’ due to his size letting him lob along out the back of the field. What he’s got is a turn of foot being able to clock sizzling sectionals when asked to get going. Expecting another win!

RACE 9 No.16 Scottish Mist

Last start Doomben winner who does appear well placed in this final event. She dug deep to score on that occasion driving along the inside to just outgun Good Chat after being niggled on the turn in a solidly run affair. The 1350-1400m distance range is her pet trip having won at 4 of her 5 attempts and from the good draw tomorrow gets her chance to add to that record.
