RACE 4 No.4 Aleas

UK import now with the Chris Waller yard who caught the eye running home late at Newcastle at his Australian debut. He rises to the much more suitable 1800m trip on Saturday and looks suited in only a small field on heavy ground of which he is 2 from 2 back home. He’s had the benefit of a trial post that first up run and with J-Mac to do the steering does appear the one to beat.

RACE 5 No.10 Street Power

Already well supported in early markets this does look a suitable race for this Scone trained galloper to figure in the finish at a value price. He raced very well this grade last prep which featured a win over Shelby Sixty Six prior to being sent for a break. Both runs this time in although only looking average on paper have been better than that, back in trip, handles the wet might prove tough to get past.

RACE 8 No.3 Diamil 

John O’Shea and J-Mac combine here with another former UK galloper who was dominant winning at only his second start in the country. He relished the step up to 1600m at Warwick Farm ploughing through the heavy ground to account for Main Stage who has already franked that form line winning at Canterbury on Wednesday. Wide gate no help, confident he can overcome it though.
