Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on May 20, 2022May 20, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.11 Tigertude Throw at the stumps with this lightly raced galloper who has only missed the place once from his 5 outings which includes 2 wins. He’s definitely up in grade for tomorrow’s assignment however the way he can find the line I’d suggest he’s not without a chance at a decent price. His closing effort at Beaudesert last start was huge and given another stride he would have landed the major prize. RACE 3 No.2 Rangi Toa Ex Kiwi galloper now in the Waterhouse/Bott yard who looked impressive winning first up in the country on the Kensington track recently. He led (no surprise) and kept on kicking strongly all the way down the straight to fend off his rivals comfortably. He will obviously strip fitter for the run and seems to really enjoy getting his toe in the ground, no reason he can’t win again. RACE 8 No.3 Irish Angel Resumes on Saturday with a very solid recent fresh record having won first up at her past two campaigns. She’s had the recent trial to blow away the cobwebs (normal pattern) which is enough to have her ready to go on a damp surface which she also enjoys, in fact all her wins to date have been on rain affected ground. Very hard to beat. Quaddie 4, 8, 11, 3 3, 1, 13, 16 13, 11 2, 13, 15 Market Market
