Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on March 11, 2022March 11, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.3 Magic Snitzel colt from the Hawkes yard who was very well backed on debut here three weeks back when running home hard behind Best Of Bordeaux who sits on the fourth line of Golden Slipper betting. Into the clear inside the 250m couldn’t help but be impressed by his closing sectional which rated well overall in the days numbers. Fitter, wiser and with an additional 100m he should prove very hard to hold out. RACE 4 No.1 Ellsberg Looked to have found the right race at Randwick last start and that was certainly the case as he led throughout to bolt in never looking like being beaten. He finds a similar type race on Saturday on likely not quite as wet a track and up a little in the weights, doubt that’s going to stop him either leading or if not trailing, from there he should be winning once again! RACE 6 No.11 Fangirl Chris Waller trained filly who although gets back in her races just gave away too much start in the Surround before closing off nicely over the final 150m or so of the race. I’d expect her to be in a closer spot this time around and the quality of this race does look inferior to last time. A drier track won’t harm her chances either. Looks the winner.
