Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on March 27, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson Race 5 No. 9 Villami Really looked the goods winning the Fireball first up at Randwick giving nothing else a chance leading throughout. Even though she’s drawn a poor gate tomorrow the map suggests she has enough speed to cross and take up the lead once again. Although yet to win at the trip she has placed on 4 of those 6 occasions and will handle the cut in the ground. Race 6 No. 9 Verry Elleegant Group 1 Tancred looks the perfect race for this very classy mare to return to the winners circle. She backs up off the second in last week’s Ranvet which is the perfect lead up into this race having beaten all bar the winner easily. She’s won out to the longer trip and loves the wet ground, unfortunately no big odds however she looks the best of the day! Race 8 No.9 Pohutukawa Very consistent mare however she hasn’t exactly a proved a punters favourite having been beaten when well fancied in the market on a number of occasions. Tomorrow I’m willing to give her another chance, she simply found the heavy surface too wet last time out whereas the soft tomorrow suits her nicely. She also back from Group 1 company which is another plus. Strictly each-way though. Quaddie 6, 9 1, 2 6, 8, 9, 11 2, 3, 15 Market Market
