Lightly raced Chris Waller trained filly who charged to the line first up on the Kensington track just missing out on a Soft (5) surface. Without doubt she will face a wetter surface tomorrow with a Heavy rating most likely however the breed generally get through it ok and the stable won’t run her if they have any doubts. Good value and is well worth an each-way ticket.

RACE 6 No.6 Savvan

Consistent filly who should be primed to peak tomorrow at her third run back from a break. She’s clocked in second at both runs to date this prep with the latest behind the smart Noire who is hoping to get into tomorrow’s Group 1 Tatt’s Tiara field at Doomben (currently an emergency). Although yet to win on wet ground she has placed 4 of 5 Heavy track starts which will stand her in good stead tomorrow.

Ex Kiwi mare now in the hands of Kris Lees who ventured up to the Sunshine Coast last start running on well late in a race not run to suit at all. She then followed that up with a soft Gold Coast barrier trial win when never out of first gear. Back to Sydney she will get conditions to suit having her first local start on Heavy ground, a surface she appears to relish.
