RACE 3 No.3 Faretti

Big wraps on this one prior to his first start in the Silver Slipper back in the summer. He struck a heavy surface that day and as a result never really travelled at any stage. Immediately tipped out he returned in great order racing up on the pace winning with plenty in hand at a recent Kensington meeting. Yes this is harder however those wraps might be right and he just could be well above average.

RACE 7 No.1 Kubrick

Does appear to hold a definite class edge over his rivals here. Far from disgraced behind the flying Bivouac at his first two starts back from a break he then went around in the Caulfield Guineas when seeing more of the outside fence than the inside courtesy of a very bad draw. That certainly won’t be the case tomorrow having come up with pole position!

RACE 8 No.6 Safado

New edition to the Chris Waller yard (formerly Kim Waugh) who has had the three trials in preparation for his return tomorrow. All have been solid featuring a win over Victorem and a last outing placing at Rosehill. He appears to be trending in the right direction for a first up kill and can keep that perfect fresh record intact.
