Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on December 21, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 3 No.1 A Man To Match Back to Eagle Farm we go for the first time since May of 2017 with a great days racing ahead. We kick off with this Tony Gollan trained galloper who really appreciated the step up in distance winning at Doomben last start. He takes a further step up tomorrow however meets pretty much the same opposition, it really is impossible to see any of them turning the tables. RACE 4 No.8 Red Doulton Consistent filly who looks very close to a win having had no luck her last couple of starts. Two back she was weaving her way in to the finish at the Sunshine Coast when running into a dead end near the 200m losing all momentum. Last time out she drew wide and had no option than to settle back before running on from last making good ground. Each-way RACE 9 No.5 Cadogan Toby Edmonds really does have this one flying at the moment & his win at Doomben last start was outstanding. Settling back in a race not run to suit he loomed ominously on the home turn before running past Chapter And Verse (also engaged tomorrow) as if he was standing still! He then powered away before being eased up on the line. Can win again!
