RACE 5 No.5 Drive A Deel

Very promising mare from the Heathcote stable who is in terrific form having won her past three starts. She’s relished the step up in trip of late and off a slight freshen up she’ll have no issue staying at the mile tomorrow. She maps perfectly just off the speed, she holds a good record at the track and only rises a kilo on the latest win. Too strong again!

RACE 7 No.5 Menazzi

Have to say he was a ‘good thing beaten’ first up at Eagle Farm on Cup Day. Stuck behind a wall of runners and going half pace he just couldn’t get a crack until inside the 200m however by that stage the bird had well and truly flown. He won first and second up last prep, contested better races and placed in the Group 3 Rough Habit.

RACE 9 No.10 Extremist

Yes, she comes up with an ordinary draw on paper tomorrow however all that is likely to do is keep her price at a good range. Things may not pan out however I’m willing to take the punt as she’s going so well unbeaten at all 3 starts this time in. They had the length of the straight to get past her at Eagle Farm two back and couldn’t.
