RACE 2 No.4 Tamilaide

Gave him a rough chance in the ‘Wave’ race at the Gold Coast a fortnight back however he just gave away too much start before running home late without any threat whatsoever. That race was always going to be a tough ask class wise under the WFA conditions however that’s not the case tomorrow dropping back to a Class 3 plate. Any give in the ground won’t harm his chances.

RACE 6 No.2 Frosty Margo

No match for Starman at the Gold Coast however I did like the way she stuck to her guns beating the rest by a good margin. That was her second run back from a break which suggests she’ll be right at her peak here and even though well up in the weights she should gain an economical run from the good alley should Jimmy Byrne decide to take a trail.

RACE 9 No.5 Roman Aureus

Very consistent galloper who appeals on an each-way basis at the price on offer. He’s had his chances to win of late and will get another one tomorrow having drawn a perfect gate. Four of his five victories have come at Doomben and he is another who will only be suited by any additional give in the ground. Missed a placing only once at 1350m in nine attempts here.
