Race 1

GEORGE MYBOY (3) was green in the run but chased hard against the talented Ignite The Furnace last time out, has the draw advantage and looks the likely leader and will be hard to run down. JIMMYS RAINBOW (5) has trialled up well and has plenty of high speed, expecting him to run strongly. BENOA BAY (4) looks to have ability and must be respected. PIP OFF (2) appears next best.

Suggested Bet: GEORGE MYBOY (3) to win.

Race 2

IM STEALTHY (5) is a talented type on return and has the draw advantage over his main rival, looks hard to beat as he should be aggressive and looks to lead here. PROPOSITION JOE (7) was gutsy in his first win in WA, good test as he bumps into a Derby calibre horse. WHEELSOFORTUNE (8) is better suited on speed so the draw could be a negative, has good ability. BET IM HOT (2) is a novelty chance with BUTTER ME UP (3) and SLAY QUEEN (6).

Suggested Bet: IM STEALTHY/PROPOSITION JOE to Exacta.

Race 3

BLOCKJORG (3) was luckless last time out and has the draw advantage, distance suits and expecting her to run well. SYNCHRONIZER (7) was gutsy last time out after copping a lot of pressure, draw is challenging but she can be versatile. SPORTING GRACE (4) didn’t have much luck last run and looks suited in this grade, shouldn’t be too far away. FRANKESNTEINSBRIDE (8) is a novelty chance, she will be running on with SUNDANCER RAINBOW (6). PAPER CRANE (2) capable of better.

Suggested Bet: BLOCKJORG (3) to win.

Race 4

SAMMY SUFFARELL (5) is a nice type who was consistent last time in and is likely to be a sharp improver this campaign, this is a suitable grade and is versatile, will go close. TA IN ADVANCE (8) is beautifully drawn, will get out and run home strongly. EN PARIANT SUR (1) comes in fresh but is a good on pace type and likes to lead. TASHS SPARTAN (2) is capable and should settle close enough. BEALAWYER (9) is always a novelty chance with HOTFOOT IT (4).

Tips: 5 8 1 2

Suggested Bet: SAMMY SUFFARELL (5) to win.

Race 5

MAJESTIC GA GA (6) is a brilliant beginner and looks the likely leader and will be hard to beat, she has become one of the best trotters in the state and the distance suits. YANKEE LOVER (9) was solid last time out and is heading in the right direction. MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (8) needs some luck, has a good draw and a lot of high speed. MRIYA DREAM (1) rises in grade but looks a solid chance to run in the money with his early dash. LUVAFLAIR (10) is always a novelty chance.

Tips: 6 9 8 1

Suggested Bet: YANKEE LOVER (9) to place.

Race 6

MINSTREL (9) returns and can let things unfold early before heading forward to be in control of the race, he has a good record fresh and is proven in this race. MAGNIFICENT STORM (11) is second up from a break and has a tricky draw to overcome, he is a proven star and looks the main danger. BETTER ECLIPSE (8) has the nice draw and will be working into the clear late and running on strongly. MIGHTY RONALDO (6) needs some tempo on, but he was luckless on return. MAUNGATAHI (1), SORRIDERE (2), ROLLING FIRE (3) and THE IRON DUKE (4) are all novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: MINSTREL (9) to win.

Race 7

Open race. BLUTO (12) caught the eye first up and strips fitter, will be a good effort to win off the 50m but he has depth and can overcome the handicap. ECLIPSE LINE (11) better horse on speed therefore the handicap is challenging but should run well. CALL TO ARMS (2) hit the line well first up, fitter for that and normally begins well, looks a solid place chance. AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (6) and GEE SMITH (7) both capable with the right runs. THOMSON BAY (10) not the worst in a tricky affair.

Tips: 12 11 2 6

Suggested Bet: CALL TO ARMS (2) to place.

Race 8

LAZI DAIS (7) is a talented type on return, had a breakout preparation last time in and can improve further here, has brilliant early speed and can win on return. DIAMOND WORLD (2) has returned well and should settle close to the speed and will run well, likely to feature in the money. THE BETTOR SIDE (5) finally broke through when driven like the best horse, may try that tactic again. WORLD SECRET (4) was a much better effort last run and battled on well. THE SWINDLER (8) will have a softer run here and is a novelty chance.

Tips: 7 2 5 4

Suggested Bet: LAZI DAIS (7) to win.
