I’m all over this one from the Guy yard who put in a cracking run on debut beating all bar the winner Palazzo Spirit (won again) clocking better sectionals all the way from the 600. Sent out immediately he trialled at the Gold Coast running away from his rivals recently in fast time with plenty left in the tank! RACE 2 No.4 Logomania Going to have something each-way this gelding who is lining up for only his second start. Thrown in the deep end big time on debut he finished last in the Group 3 McLachlan at Eagle Farm behind the smart Alpine Edge almost 12 months ago. Connections must have an opinion of him to go down that path and he’s been prepped for this with a couple of trials placing at the latest. This is a huge class drop. RACE 4 No.8 Princess Tenko Plenty to like about this mares chances tonight. She’s had the one run back and was likely in need of it here a fortnight back when clocking in a respectable third. Fitter and importantly back on drier ground (her record on top of the ground clearly better than rain affected) from the good draw she gets her chance to bring up another win for in form jockey Ben Thompson.
