Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on August 27, 2021August 27, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.13 Miami Fleiss Speedy mare from the leading Tony Gollan stable who looks set to bounce back into winning form tomorrow. Given time to get over her gut busting first up run 5 weeks back when sitting 3 wide without cover she draws a lot better this time around and can cross to the fence. From there expect a strong kick in the straight which should see her pinch a big enough break to land the prize. RACE 5 No.2 Roman Aureus Yet to put in a poor run this campaign however also yet to win which has been due to a run of bad alleys. There’s no doubt he could have won at least once possibly more had he drawn more favourably. Tomorrow he finally does and should find himself in a very prominent position early on as there looks a distinct lack of speed in the race. Confident he can run out the mile and bring up a well-deserved victory. RACE 8 No.3 Ballistic Boy Resumes tomorrow and just may have found a winnable race. A get back type he draws well in a race which looks low on speed and therefore is a big chance to find himself closer in the run and with his big finish he might be too strong late. He certainly looked sharp enough for a first up tilt at Doomben recently when leading throughout to win a trial. Quaddie 5, 7, 6 1, 2, 9 3, 6 10, 20, 2, 13, 3 Market Market
